자신이 불의의 사고를 당했을 때 구해줬던 사람이 선재였단 걸 알게 된 솔. 과거에 그가 자신을 살려준 것처럼 이번엔 자신이 선재를 살리는 게 숙명임을 느낀다.
선재는 태성이 솔을 이용하고 있다고 생각해 한껏 날이 서 있다. 태성도 선재가 솔과 가까워 보이는 게 영 거슬리고, 두 남자 사이에 유치한 신경전이 오간다.
한편, 박태환이 출전하는 수영 대회가 다가오자 선재 마음이 걱정되는 솔인데...
Sun-jae saves Sol just in time. Sol realizes how precious her life is and tries not to miss out on many things. Tae-sung feels jealous of Sun-jae who seems close to Sol. Meanwhile, the vocalist of Tae-sung’s band can’t come to the band contest, and Sun-jae sings for the band. Sun-jae gives the prize to Sol as a gift, but Sol is upset because he sang in a band which she wanted to prevent from happening.

Sol learns that Sun-jae was the one who saved her from the past accident. Just as he saved her in the past, she feels it is her destiny to save him this time. Sun-jae, believing Tae-sung is using Sol, becomes defensive. As rivalry grows between Sun-jae and Tae-sung, Sol grows anxious with Park Tae-hwan's swimming competition approaching fearing another accident for Sun-jae.
