ميا طبيبة التخدير زوجة جراح القلب حازم ولهم ولدان شمس وزين. عائلة فرقتها حادثة سير قدرية لينتج عنها أم يظن الجميع أنها تعاني من هلوسات ما بعد الصدمة التي تعرضت لها في منتصف العام ٢٠١٢. يدخلان في رحلة بحث عن ابنيهما وعن نفسيهما حتى وسط قسوة المغامرات اللتي سيتعرضان لها. ميا مدمنة على المهدئات وحازم يحاول أن يكون متماسكا رغم الألم.
