Albert and Laura leave home to run away with their friend, Dylan. Dylan, who is dying from leukemia, wants to achieve his life long dream of seeing the Pacific Ocean. Mr. Ingalls catches up with the children, but when he finds out what is going on, he helps them get to the ocean.

Laura et Albert partent avec Dylan, atteint d’une maladie incurable, qui rêve de voir l’océan...

Dylan relata a Albert y a Laura las aventuras de Ulises surcando los mares en “La Odisea”, confesándoles su sueño de ver el océano, al que pinta repetidas veces en sus cuadros. Aquejado de frecuentes molestias, cuando sabe que padece leucemia y le queda poco tiempo de vida, les confía su secreto de emprender el viaje que hará realidad su deseo, desobedeciendo al médico y a su madre que le aconsejan que guarde reposo. Los dos hermanos le acompañarán para ayudarle a alcanzar su objetivo.
