When Dada is magically doubled by a mirror, Mati, Dada and Dada 2 are whisked off to the Netherlands where they meet painter Jan Vermeer. He plans his paintings carefully, choosing a subject that interests him, and using angles and light to lead to centre of interest. In ‘The Music Lesson’ a young lady is standing at a virginal, a musical instrument with a keyboard; her elbow is the most brightly lit and the mirror reflecting her face adds to her importance. The mystery is that the mirror image reflects things that are not in the room, which makes the viewer think about the painting.
