Bulan was designated as heir apparent of his father who is chief of their tribe. Marriage was also being arranged by his father. Not prepared for these responsibilities, Bulan left his tribe. John, on the other hand, escaped the city to find himself. Instead, in a rural area where life's generally simple, he found Caloy who will complicate his life.
Caloy and John adjust to life in the rural area. As they cope with their new environment, they also find themselves feeling differently about each other.
A strong typhoon ravaged the mountains and the lowlands. Caloy, John, and Nanay Zeny had to leave their home to evacuate somewhere safe.
