Raúl acaba de llegar al instituto. Sobreprotegido por su madre, intenta salir del cascarón y encontrar su sitio. Parece el típico friki, pero Sandra y Marcos ven en él un chico entusiasta y divertido, con peculiares gustos musicales. Pronto se enamora de Sandra, pero sabe que a ella le gusta Marcos. También Raúl se siente atraído por él y no entiende por qué no pueden quererse los tres. Sufrirá un duro golpe con la detención de Marcos por el asesinato del padre.
