Dans une île isolée d'Indonésie, plusieurs équipes de candidats s’affrontent à travers une série d’épreuves physiques et mentales. Chaque épreuve permet de remporter des avantages, des points ou une immunité pour éviter l’élimination. Le concept de “malédiction” ajoute une dimension imprévisible : certaines épreuves sont piégées, des handicaps peuvent frapper les perdants, et des événements inattendus viennent bouleverser le cours du jeu.
