Abby's mad when Gary and Kenny decide to go into business together to produce a record for Ciji, and then promises money to Richard. She tells Gary if they don't have a partnership she will leave him. Abby makes Richard sign a contract that she will be in control of Gary's investment in Daniel, and if he doesn't sign, she'll make sure he doesn't get any money. Val is upset that Lilimae invited Chip to live with them. Lilimae introduces Chip to Ciji, and they're attracted to one another. Diana gives Chip a car from KLMotors. Karen and Mac go camping for the weekend, but she refuses to sleep with him and they argue the whole time. Joe tells her that she's in love with Mac and that he's moving back to New York. Karen and Mac talk and realize they're both scared of getting into a relationship. They make love.
Abby est hors d'elle quand Gary et Kenny s'associent pour produire un disque pour Ciji et puis promet de l'argent à Richard. Puis, il décide d'acheter un ranch. Elle dit à Gary que s'ils ne forment pas une véritable association elle le laissera. Abby fait signer à Richard un contrat comme quoi elle contrôle l'investissement de Gary dans le Daniel et que s'il ne signe pas elle s'assurera qu'il n'obtienne pas le moindre argent. Val est en colère que Lilimae ait pu inviter Chip à vivre avec eux. Lilimae présente Chip à Ciji qui ont une attirance mutuelle. Diana qui déteste l'idée que Mack et Karen puissent être ensemble donne à Chip une voiture de Knots Landing Motors pour contrarier sa mère. Karen et Mack vont camper pour le week-end mais elle refuse de coucher avec lui et ils se disputent tout le temps. Joe lui dit qu'elle aime Mack et comme elle est dans de bonnes mains, il retourne à New York. Karen et Mack réalisent qu'ils sont tous les deux effrayés de commencer une relation puis ils font l'amour.
