Emotional goodbyes are never fun... Oscar also surprises us with an announcement at the end. So when we were at the airport waiting to board the plane, Keren asked me to please get her a coffee so she could stay up and take care of the kids on the plane. When I came back, everyone was boarding. Keren told me to hurry and grab the stuff so she could carry the kids. It was almost impossible but somehow I managed to carry the car seats, the diaper bag, my backpack, Jacksons blanket and Scout. I boarded the plane, put everything under the seat. By the time I strapped the car seat in and we were all situated, the plane took off. Keren and I looked at each other in relief and high fived. All was well until she asked where her coffee was. I looked around and then remembered setting it down on the chair when I was picking everything up. Keren could tell from the look on my face that I forgot the coffee. Her left eyebrow raised up higher than Mt. Fuji and her face turned redder than her sleep deprived eyes. She raised her palm up and smacked me so hard, I landed back at the gate right next to the coffee that I left behind. I had to book another flight home and thats why todays vlog was late. I cried. The coffee cried. Keren cried as well.
