Original Title: What Caused the American Civil War? We are starting a new Kings and Generals animated historical documentary series on the history of the American Civil War. In this first episode, we will cover the reasons that caused the American Civil War, and will talk about the effects of slavery, tariffs, taxation, expansion, the election of Lincoln, Bloody Kansas and much more showing the reasons why a number of states seceded from the Union and declared the Confederate States of America leading to a long and bloody conflict. The series will also focus on all the major battles of the war, including Fort Sumter, Bull Run, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Gettysburg, Sherman's March, Appomattox Station, and more.
