About the future fate of former police Lieutenant Colonel Stas Karpov. Having been released after compulsory treatment, Karpov finds himself "at a broken trough". There was nothing left of what he had sought for so long: no money, no position, no power. The former COP is issued a wolf ticket, he will not get to the police even for the smallest position. Trying to somehow feed himself, Karpov gets a job as a security guard in a warehouse. He looks at the world with sober eyes, not befuddled by power. One day, he sees an ad for a reward for searching for a criminal and realizes that he remembers him from old cases, and can find him...
