The modest tour guide Dasha agrees to an unexpected proposal from her former classmate Alice. The girl acts as a realtor on one of the transactions, posing as her. The potential buyer, Frenchman Pierre Saburov, is fascinated by Alice. He comes to Russia to sign an agreement and get to know her better. However, instead of the Frenchman Pierre, Dasha sees in front of her a childhood friend Petya, whom she met many years ago on a ship.
