The "filmmaking revival" in 1990s Singapore

A well-made documentary (episode 3 of 4) that provides a good overview of filmmaking in Singapore between 1991 and '97, often dubbed the "revival" period of Singapore cinema. There are film clips aplenty, from 'Medium Rare' (1991), 'Bugis Street' (1995), Eric Khoo's short film 'August' (1991), 'Mee Pok Man' (1995), 'Army Daze' (1996), 'The Road Less Travelled' 轨道 (1997), 'God or Dog' 我儿无罪 (1997) and '12 Storeys' (1997). It also includes interviews with personalities active in the film scene then - Errol Pang (executive producer of 'Medium Rare', he passed on in June 2018); Geoff Malone (co-founder and former chairman of the Singapore International Film Festival); Kenneth Tan (chairman of Singapore Film Society); Lim Suat Yen (director of 'The Road Less Travelled'), Eric Khoo (director of 'Mee Pok Man'), and actors Ernest Seah ('Bugis Street') and Lim Kay Tong ('Mee Pok Man').
