Jojanneke en de jeugdzorgtapes toont de verhalen achter de jaarlijks 19.000 uithuisplaatsingen in Nederland. Dit getal had met de nieuwe jeugdwet uit 2015 drastisch verlaagd moeten worden, maar dat is niet gelukt. De jongeren in deze zesdelige serie laten zien wat een uithuisplaatsing met je leven doet en hopen met hun verhaal af te dwingen dat het jeugdzorgsysteem blijvend verandert.
