Im Palmer Park von Seattle wird die Leiche eines jungen Mädchens gefunden. Da in letzter Zeit mehrere Mädchen verschwunden sind, nehmen Avery und John an, dass es sich um einen Serientäter handelt. Während die Ermittlungen anlaufen, meldet sich auf dem Polizeirevier die junge Delphine, die sich selbst als Hellseherin bezeichnet und der Polizei Hinweise auf den Ort liefert, wo sich eine weitere Leiche befindet. John ist zunächst skeptisch, doch Delphine kann ihn mit einer weiteren Prophezeiung überzeugen. Gemeinsam versuchen sie den Täter zu finden. Dabei macht John eine Entdeckung, die Delphines Hellseher-Fähigkeiten in einem ganz anderen, beängstigenden Licht erscheinen lassen...
John copes with his first nightmare over Karen's death while helping the police in the deaths of several young girls. A psychic, Delphine, helps them locate two of the bodies in a nearby park. John is skeptical of her abilities but begins to believe she has some gift when she sees a presence and a darkness about him. After the third girl turns up dead, Delphine leads them back to the park where they find a skeleton from five years earlier . . . around the time she started blacking out and her gift started manifesting. John determines that Delphine survived the killer's attack and suffered amnesia, thus explaining her "psychic" connection to the killings and the park. John soon determines all the victims worked in food services, and that a butcher, Jeb Crosby, is the killer . . .but not before he captures Delphine. John and the police arrive just in time to save her and John comes to terms with his guilt over Karen's death.
Frank est chargé de retrouver Felicity, Lisa et Connie, trois jeunes femmes qui ont disparu. Delphine Young, qui prétend être voyante, lui propose son aide. Elle les emmène, lui et Jamie Avery à Palmer Park où sont enterrés les corps de Felicity et Lisa. John constate que les cadavres portent les mêmes stigmates : traces de ligatures aux poignets, artère sectionnée et marques d'agressions sexuelles. Toutefois, Delphine est incapable de localiser la dernière victime. Au moment où John commence à douter de ses dons, elle a une nouvelle vision: il faut chercher dans les cuisines de la cafétéria où Connie travaillait.

Per ritrovare il corpo di una terza ragazza, Delphine conduce i poliziotti nello stesso parco dove vengono rinvenuti dei resti umani vecchi di 5 anni. Intanto, John scopre la verità sulle intuizioni di Delphine.
