Zacchaeus, a chief tax collector, was wealthy. He climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see Jesus through the crowd. Jesus said to him, "Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today." Zacchaeus said, I give half of my possessions to the poor." Jesus said, For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost." (Luke 19:1-10)
