Billy kommt aus der Jugendstrafanstalt. Das „Du bist es“ Thema wurde noch nicht besprochen und Billy macht deutlich, dass er auch nicht darüber reden will. Alles hat sich verändert. Jane meldet sich in der Schule krank, weil Gray sie ins Büro zitiert hat. Um ihr zu helfen, lügt Ben Rita an, obwohl er das eigentlich nicht will. Rita wird misstrauisch und will die kranke Jane zu Hause besuchen. Nick und Lulu gehen seit zwei Monaten miteinander aus. Doch keiner von beiden ist glücklich. Bei Donovan Decker übernimmt Eli, der Neffe von Gray, die alte Stelle von India.
Jane is scrambling to get a handle on both her personal and professional life. With Billy returning from juvie, Jane is nervous about how things were left and what that means now for the two best friends. But, she doesn’t have too much time to think about it because with India now gone from Donovan Decker, Gray is leaning on Jane more than ever. Jane starts to wonder if she may have a shot at the job, with a little encouragement from Jeremy, but some stiff competition might be standing in her way. Interior designer Martyn Lawrence-Bullard (from Bravo’s “Million Dollar Decorators”) stops by the Donavan Decker offices to spruce up Gray’s office.
Meanwhile, Ben tries his best to keep Jane’s secret safe even though it is affecting his new relationship with Rita.
Jane cerca di capire come comportarsi con Billy adesso che quest'ultimo è uscito dal riformatorio. Ma purtroppo non ha molto tempo da dedicarci perchè con l'assenza di India ora Gray fa affidamento su di lei più che mai. Jane si chiede se c'è la possibilità di avere il posto di India che ha lasciato la Donovan Decker, ma c'è un bel po' di competizione da affrontare.
