Harm má zkoušky z létání a tak musí na letadlovou loď. Chce se včas vrátit na svatbu Sarah a tak když se bouřka trochu zmírní vyletí. Bohužel bouřka se velmi rychle zhorší, stíhačce navíc vypadnou oba motory a nakonec se zřítí do oceánu. Harm a jeho co-pilotka se včas katapultovali.
Hned jak se počasí trochu uklidnilo, startuje z lodi záchranný vrtulník se stíhačkou. Najdou jen spolupilotku. Počasí se opět zhorší a tak musejí misi ukončit.
O všem se v průběhu oslavy dozvídá generál a informace sděluje na předsvatební oslavě...
Mac ist sehr enttäuscht, als Harm nicht an dem traditionellen Probeessen vor der Hochzeit teilnehmen kann, weil er ausgerechnet an diesem Tag seine routinemäßigen Testflüge auf dem Flugzeugträger 'Sea Hawk' absolvieren muss. Um rechtzeitig zurück zu sein, tritt er mit seiner Kollegin Skates nach den Übungen trotz Unwetterwarnung den Rückflug an. Die beiden geraten in einen Sturm, können die Maschine nicht halten und müssen sich per Schleudersitz herausschießen. Die dramatische Such- und Bergungsaktion auf hoher See wird per Funk nach Washington übertragen. Mac bricht in Tränen aus, als nur Skates gefunden wird...
Mac becomes upset when Harm tells her at the last minute that he will not be attending her rehearsal duty in order to complete his 6-month required carrier landing qualifications. He assures her that he will be back in time for the wedding.
At the church, Chloe is still wary of being friends of Mic.
On board the USS Patrick Henry, Harm learns that the LSO who will be grading him thinks of him only as a "land-based Washington weenie". His fears that he won't be graded fairly are realized when he is ordered to land after his first attempt is waved off. After convincing the LSO that they were flying they way that the LSO taught them, he allows Harm to try again. After passing, he then completes his required night traps and requests to head back to Andrews AFB. With an approaching storm, all air operations are suspended, but is assured that he & Skates can be on the first Tomcat, once its forecasted to be safe.
With a break in the storm, he & Skates are allowed to go.
Le mariage de Mac avec Mic approche. Elle se rend compte que ses sentiments pour Harm sont très forts. Harm doit s'absenter pour le week-end. Bientôt Mac apprend qu'il est porté disparu en mer, après un violent orage.
Mac nagyot csalódik, mikor Harm az utolsó pilanatban közli vele, hogy nem tud részt venni a próba esküvő vacsoráján, mivel akkor lesz a féléves gyakorlata. A férfi azonban megígéri, hogy az esküvőt nem kési le.
Miután teljesíti feladatát a Patrick Henry anyahajón, Harm engedélyt kér arra, hogy visszatérhessen az Andrews-ra a közelgő vihar ellenére. Mikor a kapcsolat Rabb gépével megszakad, értesítik a vacsorán résztevőket és Mac nem tudja elrejteni Mic elől valódi érzéseit Harm iránt.
Mac è impegnata nei preparativi del suo matrimonio, ma purtroppo Harm non potrà partecipare alla cena della prova perchè si trova a bordo della Patrick Henry per superare l'esame di routine per gli atterraggi su portaerei e Mac è convinta che non riuscirà a tornare in tempo per la cerimonia. Harm dal canto suo, non è affatto preoccupato e rassicura l'amica, tuttavia non ha fatto i conti con una tempesta che mette in pericolo il suo Tomcat minacciando di farlo precipitare.
Tras coger un avión, Harm se estrella ya que es sorprendido por una fuerte tormenta. Mienrtas, todo el personal del JAG se prepara para la boda de Mac. Sin embargo, cuando comunican a Mac lo sucedido con Harm es incapaz de ocultar lo que siente por su compañero.
