The story itself is that "a heroine who was not tied to her old lover married a mother's boy, but she couldn't stand the selfish behavior of her husband and mother-in-law, and returned to her old lover." In the heyday of trendy dramas at that time, there seemed to be no particular hits, but the intense acting of Sano and Nogiwa became a hot topic, and the audience rating gradually increased. The peculiar and extreme male image of the mother's complex shown in the play created a big boom called "Fuyuhiko-san phenomenon", and the audience rating, which was only 13.0% at the first time, marked 34.1% at the last time. It became the highest audience rating in the 1992 commercial TV drama series. However, the number in the first half was low, and it was the 8th episode that recorded 20% or more for the first time (20% or more of all episodes were recorded after the 8th episode), so the overall average audience rating reached 20%.
