Josh is your typical teenage boy from the South Wales Valley. While out on his bike with his best friends Jamie and Carys, they spot an open grave. An apprehensive investigation leads them to discover Josh's mother Trudy - she is tipsy, make-up smeared, has a suspected broken leg and no way out. Trudy just wants to pay her last respects to best friend Dawn, before her well-to-do sister Karen turns up. Embarrassed by his mother, with her tabard in hand and insistence on looking her best, Josh must try and get her out before Karen and the whole town descends on the graveyard for Dawn’s upcoming funeral.
