I am on my way to Karakol, on lake Ysul-Kul, but to get there, I have to cross the high mountain range that surrounds the lake. Arabel pass is at about 3800 meters altitude, which my bike can handle in theory.. but it because an entirely different story if the last section to the climb is very steep... But before I even reach the pass, I am facing dozens of water crossings...
