Louis purchased his fixer-upper home right after Hurricane Andrew ten years ago, and has been promising his now 16-year-old daughter Kayleigh he'd fix up her room ever since. It's been over a decade now, and Kayleigh's room still has gallons of water damage, holes in the wall, and is about the size of most closets. Kayleigh is so embarrassed of her room that she won't even invite her friends over. Even if she did, they couldn't all fit in there anyway. Led by understanding designer Deborah, contractors James, Jennie, Sparky, Gregory, and host Marc help Louis make good on his promise to daughter Kayleigh. In just three days, they double the size of Kayleigh's shoebox room, and turn it into the cool, hip Bohemian-styled room that she's craved for over 10 years. The crew invents an indoor swing/chair, builds a bed frame, knocks down a wall, and repairs a ghastly gaping ceiling.
