It's 5am in the Austrailian outback, Ant & Dec come live from the camp to give us a ""tour"" of where the Celebrities might stay for the next two weeks.
A slow start to the second season - Ant and Dec show the first couple of days that the celebs learned the basics of surviving in the jungle. Everyone notes that the morale in the group is majorly high - whether this stays remains to be seen. The group vote John as their first leader and start organising their lives in the jungle.
Catalina faces the first Bush Tuka challenge - Croc Pit. Its a simple enough concept, collect the stars in a water pit full of crocodiles. She does well, scoring seven of the possible ten stars on offer. Jubilation awaits her back at camp with nine hungry celebrities starting to realise this endurance challenge will be no picnic.
Wayne Sleep was voted to take on the third Bush Tucker challenge, Ant and Dec revealed to him the previous episode and now proffesional dancer Wayne Sleep must take on 'Rats In Suits' a test that requires him to search for stars while attracting rat's with his woffle-made outfit. He was devasted when he only managed to get two star's for the camp, but the others congratulated him none the less. In the final part of the show, Ant and Dec revealed the public had voted for Fash to complete the next task, which would be taking place the next day.
After a temporary rest from challenges, the public decided it was time that Fash was put to task again. Unfortunatley for him, the task they voted him to take part in, was all about heights, one of his greates fears. He needed to traverse a bridge suspended high above the jungle floor, which would randonly shift and shake to make matters worse, all this needed to be conquered while he collected as many stars as he could, he left behind only stars, which the camp applauded him for.
""Catch A Falling Star"" was the title of the next Bush Tucker challenge, and the celebrities didn't like the sound of it one bit. Apart from Daniella, that is, who was determined to take part in a task before she left. Her wish was granted by the viewing public and she was voted to take the challenge. The idea was simple, catch a falling star from the trees above. But only, along with it fell a whole host of jungle nasties, everything from eal juice to creepy crawlies fell on Danniella but she completed the task happily. There was a slight problem when she returned back to camp, however, when she was told under no curcumstances to use the near by water pool to wash herself, the others were worried she would contaminate thier water supply.
In this specially extended episode of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! viewers can watch extensive coverage of the great revolt the contestants staged when they were unhappy about the food they had won. When presented with nine sausages there was uproar. All ten contestants argued with the producers in the Bush Telegraph before marching up to the studio in a blatant breech of rules. Anthony later admitted to being the ring leader but said the protest was justified.
After three trials, the viewers decided that it was time Fash was given a break, passing on the dubious task of completing a task to chef Anthony Worrel Thompson. The task was titled ""Diving For Stars"" and Anthony needed to plunge under the water of a lagoon filled with a host of nasties including snakes, eels and many others. He got several of the stars on offer, but complained that the time he was allocated was not long enough. He was congratulated upon his return. Sian, Wayne and Daniella all discussed the ""Terrible Trio"" the name they had given Linda, Anthony and Phil who had become increasingly friendly in the past few days.
Sian Lloyd learns she is the first to have been voted off the celebrity challenge by the UK public. She exits the camp for a short interview with hosts Ant and Dec, and is presented with a short highlight reel of all her best bits from the week she spent in the Australian Outback. Daniella is devasted not to be leaving and promptly visits the Bush Telegraph and airs her feelings, claiming she will walk tommorow. Sian's eviction sends shock waves through the camp, nobody expected her to be first.
Daniella Westbrook shocked the camp when she decided to leave after only one week in the australian outback. She had begged viewers not to vote for her so she could leave, but when Sian was evicted she decided to walk. This show profiled her decision to leave and her exit from camp, in a minute by minute account of her dramatic departure. She was also on hand to give a revealing interview with hosts Ant and Dec about her time in camp and what made her decide to leave. Because she left, there was no eviction vote on this day.
The third person to leave the Australian outback was ex-corronation street actor, Chris Bisson, it was revealed in this episode of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! He returned to the studio with Ant and Dec for a quick interview and brief look back on his time in the celebrity challenge. Other events included another demonstration by Linda Barker and Cataline Guairdo when they sat on the bridge leading to the studio to make thier point. Toyah Willcox also tried her hand at the Bush Tuka trials for the first and managed to get four stars for the camp.
Cataline became the fourth celebrity evicted from I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! in this episode. She was told the news by Ant and Dec and then returned to the studio for a short interview. Other events in this episode included Wayne Sleep falling through his bed in a comedic fashion when a spot of 'trampolining' went terribly wrong. Linda faced her first Bush Tuka challenge and won all seven stars on offer while Cataline was sickened by the sight of thier dinner, a bird.
Toyah Willcox learned the public had voted her the fifth celebrity to leave, much to the disgust of Wayne Sleep, who had seen her as an allie. Other events on this episode including the discovery of a larger than usual crab, who the entire camp befriended. That is, everyone, apart from Linda ""Lets eat it. See what the meal is like tonight and if its lousy we can eat it [the crab]"" The Bush Tucker trials continued too, with Phil Tuffnel facing the trial ""Jungle Slide"". He was not impressed with his performance, however, but ever the optomist Linda commented ""Well out of 6 stars, thats fine"".
Anthony Worrel-Thompson's luck was out tonight, when he was voted off I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! by the British public. He returned to civilsation for a quick interview with presenter's Ant and Dec and then was reunited with his wife after being apart for twelve days. Viewers also had the chance of watching Linda take on her second challenge in which she needed to transport a variety of typically I'm A Celebrity... nasties including snakes, beatles and rats through an assult course. Wayne became further iscolated from the group also when he told ex-cricketer Phil Tuffnel that all cricketer's are homophobic, something Phil took offense from.
Wayne Sleep became the seventh celebrity to get the boot on this years I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!. The gay dancer was voted out just before the final, but didn't seem bothered and proceeded happily to the studio and his interview. Other events in this episode included a deep group conversation about how well the ten celebrities had really got to know each other. Fash faced his toughest challenge yet, being submerged in water with eels thrown in for good measure, he passed, however, and gained all four stars for the camp.
Carol performs her first bushtucker trial and gets four stars for the group.
