Vorwerk, the parent company of Thermomix, has been around since the late 1800s. This German MLM created expensive products that are meant to be ‘futuristic blenders’ that also cooks eggs, knead bread, ferment yogurt, and a whole host of other things. It’s not just the claims about the product that have caused controversy for this company though, but their business model.
