In der Region von Padokea angekommen, stellt sich Gon, Kurapika und Leorio ein weiteres Problem in den Weg. Der Weg zum Anwesen der Familie Zoldyck wird durch ein massives Tor versperrt, hinter dem ein riesiger Wachhund sein Unwesen treibt.
Gon, Kurapica, and Leorio arrive at Kukuroo Mountain only to find out that they cannot get close to the Zoldyck family estate. The Zoldyck family owns the mountain and all of the surrounding forest and the entire region is gated shut. There is a guard outpost immediately outside of the gate, but instead of serving as a guard, the man working in there actually cleans up the mess created by the watchdog whenever there are intruders into the grounds. Gon, unwilling to give up on "rescuing" Killua, learns from the gatekeeper that the actual door is the massive stone gate and anyone who enters via that path will not be attacked by the watchdog. Leorio tries to pull and push on the gate, to no avail. The gatekeeper informs them that the gate opens up different amounts of stone slabs based only on the strength of the person; however, the least amount of strength anyone needs to open the smallest portion of the door requires two tons of strength on each side. In addition, the protagonists are shocked to hear that Killua opened up three doors, making the gate 16 tons, when he arrived home not long ago. Gon's naturally candid character that allows so many people to like him and to help him out will also play a role in how this episode plays out.
Arrivés en République de Padokia, Gon, Léolio et Kurapika partent à l'assaut du mont Kukuru où vit Kirua, mais ils sont bientôt bloqués dans leur avancée.
Dopo essere arrivati nella Repubblica di Padokea, Gon, Leorio e Kurapika salgono su un autobus turistico diretto verso il Monte Kukuroo, dove vive la famiglia Zoldyk.
パドキア共和国に到着し、キルアがいるククルーマウンテンへ観光バスで向かうゴン、レオリオ、クラピカ。しかし、城壁のような正門に阻まれてしまう。脇にある守衛の門から入ろうとしても、番犬に食い殺されるという。なんとしてもキルアに会いたいゴンたちは守衛にキルアの友達だと名乗り、取り次いでもらうよう頼み込むが―。
Finalmente Gon, Kurapika y Leorio llegan a la montaña Kukuroo, donde se encuentran frente a una enorme puerta que les impide el acceso a la residencia de los Zoldyck.
小杰、雷欧力跟酷拉皮卡在抵达巴托奇亚共和国后，搭乘观光巴士前往枯枯戮山，却被城墙般的正门给阻挡在外。若是从旁边守卫走的小门进入也会被看门狗给咬死。即使如此，无论如何都要见到奇犽的小杰一行人向守卫自称自己是奇犽的朋友，希望能请他帮忙安排会面，但……
Após chegar na República de Podokea, Gon, Leoria e Kurapika entram em uma excursão para a montanha. É lá que o Killua vive. No caminho deles, um portão enorme bloqueia a passagem. Qualquer um que ouse passar por uma porta alternativa é imediatamente comido pelo cão de guarda. Persistente, Gon pede ao senhor que cuida do portão que deixe os seus amigos e ele entrarem para poderem visitar Killua.
곤과 크라피카, 레오리오는 파도키아 공화국에 도착해 쿠쿠르 마운틴에 도착한다. 그런데 거대한 성벽처럼 생긴 정문이 그 앞을 가로막고 있다. 세 사람은 그곳의 수위로 여겨지는 제브로에게 키르아의 집으로 들어가기 위해서는 그 정문을 열고 들어가야 하며, 그 옆에 있는 작은 문으로 들어갔다간 파수견인 미케의 먹이가 되고 만다는 사실을 듣게 된다.
