On this episode of How to Drink, I present the New York Sour or as it might have been known in the 1890's a Fancy Sour. There were "Fancy" variations of all kinds of drinks back then, the idea being to embellish a cocktail to its maximum limit and arrive at something you'd still actually want to drink. Party like it's 1899 with the New York Sour, a Whiskey Sour variation from the golden age of cocktails. Cheers!
