Wong Hiu Ying Angel and Choi Lim Yan Sylvia are both senior gymnasts from the Women's Artistic Gymnastics of Hong Kong. Though they are close partners, they are very different in many senses: Angel is outgoing and passionate, while Sylvia is introverted but hard working. Nevertheless, as a close friends and teammates, they not only share the ups and downs, but also their dream to become a successful gymnasts with their dedication and hard work.
The best age for gymnasts is around 15 to 19. Angel was lucky to win the qualification of Olympic Games in 2012, and became famous for the new motion, a forward somersault with a 180-degree half twist to mount the balance beam after steppnig onto the springboard. This movement has put her under the limelight and gave her fame.
On the other side, Sylvia enrolled into the national team since she was 4 and was sent to Hunan for a speical year of training when she was 12. She was a rising star by then, but with the retirement is approaching, she starts to question herself whether she can still become a great athlete...
體育場上的頒獎台,沒有特別設計,離地面也不高,卻是運動員窮盡半生汗水和辛酸,才能走上去的夢想之地。現時香港全職女子競技體操運動員中,以黃曉盈和蔡念恩這對「雙妹嘜」年資最深:黃曉盈性格較外向,體操動作活潑;蔡念恩較內向,屬於力量型,訓練時特別勤力。兩人自小一同訓練、一同出賽,共同面對運動員生活的成功與挑戰。
體操運動員生涯很短,黃金年齡是15至19歲。面對年紀漸長,黃曉盈有幸於四年前,以25歲的「高齡」獲得出戰倫敦奧運的機會,更自創「黃曉盈跳」的全新體操動作,獲得國際肯定;
另一邊廂,蔡念恩自小已被選入港隊,後來更被派到湖南省隊集訓,屬當年的明日之星;不過隨著退役臨近,她覺得近年身邊的讚美聲音開始減少,令她開始懷疑,自己是否能夠成為一個出色的運動員……
