Erstmals haben Zuschauer die Chance, eine eigene MDR-Unterhaltungsshow in ihrer Region zu gewinnen und selbst mitzugestalten. Gemeinden in Mitteldeutschland können gemeinsam mit dem MDR die Show mitentwickeln und „vor der Haustür“ im Ort stattfinden lassen. Regionale Showacts bekommen ihre Bühne, beispielsweise Chöre, Tanzgruppen und Kleinkünstler.
