In this video I'll look at the Roman conquest of Galicia, the foundation of its most important city, Lucus Augusti, before exploring the pre-Roman, Celtic etymology and history of Lugo relating to the Celtic God Lugus/Lugos and some related deities in the Roman Pantheon and the Norse Pantheon.
