時々、別れを乗り越えるのに役立つのは、お気に入りの料理の味だけです...東京の本物のレストランを舞台にした料理の味は、女性の魂を優しく包み込み、壊れた心を優しく癒してくれます。 主人公のミキは漫画家です。 彼女は自分の作品「HeartbreakonaPlate」を無料の雑誌に掲載しています。 各エピソードでは、レストランにやってくる失恋の物語を紹介し、食事を通して、彼らの「皿の上の失恋」の体験を紹介します。 時にはコミカルで、時には人間的なこのシリーズは、失恋した後でも前進しようとしている人々を描いています。 合計10話の中で、ミキとフラワーショップの男性との関係は徐々に進化していきます。
