Additional Specials

  • SPECIAL 0x1 America's Shuttle Returns To Flight

    • August 4, 2005

This was an "Internet only" airing of HDNet World Report. Space Shuttle Discovery returned to space after a program hiatus in July of 2005. Mark Cuban, founder of HDNet, had a contract with NASA to make hi-def recordings (then a relative rarity) of shuttle launches. This program contained footage from the Discovery's launch and other interviews and reports surrounding the mission. The program was released as a 1.3GB downloadable 720p WMV9 file from www.hd.net in August of 2005.
