Hank recruits his sidekick Drover to investigate a mysterious set of tracks found at the ranch, which he believes to be Pete. But Hank and Drover learn the cat they're tracking is far more Sinister.
With the bobcat sighting disrupting the ranch, Hank and Drover have only a moment before the chaos ensues. Sally May erupts at her son Alfred and the dogs soon have a far more pressing case when Little Alfred goes missing.
As the clouds close in, Hank sets out alone on his mission to rescue Alfred from the mean woods before Sinister the Bobcat catches wind. In a state of confusion, Hank finds a new ally in the forest who can relate to his disorientation.
After attracting dangerous coyotes in the forest, Hank and Madame Moonshine devise a plan to save themselves and Little Alfred too. Hank and the owl divert the coyotes' attention, and are surprised to find help in a buzzard and his son.
Hank finds the courage to defend Alfred from Sinister the Bobcat, with the support of Rip and Snort. But the challenges aren't over yet: the team must take cover from a flash flood before Hank can return Alfred to his family.
