Kunimi Hiro is a high school student, who is forced to give up his ambitions as a professional baseball player due to a serious injury. Now at a new high school, Hiro gets involved with Haruko and her goals of reviving that school's baseball team. At first they must overcome the refusal of school principle, who still remembers a dishonorable defeat that the school's baseball suffered some ten years earlier. Even with permission to form a school baseball team, there are still the players to recruit and train, and the challenges of building a reputation of the team within the high school baseball circuit. This is a story of group of high school students and their love of the game of baseball. Hiro is national class pitcher and batter, with his best friend who is a catcher and with Haruko as the team manager, together they struggle to build a baseball team worthy of the national championship.

Kunimi Hiro, n'ayant comme passion que le baseball et le porno, se retrouve contraint d'arrêter le baseball suite à une blessure à l'épaule. Le docteur lui assure que s'il lance encore 3 mois, il se le brisera définitivement. Hiro décide donc d'aller dans un lycée sans club de baseball, et s'inscrit au club de football au regret de ces deux amis Hideo et Hikari qui pensent que son talent est gâché. Mais dans un match entre le club de football et le fanclub de baseball du lycée, Hiro ne supportant plus l'arrogance de son équipe prête main forte au fanclub de baseball. Peu de temps après le match, il découvre que le diagnostic du médecin était peut-être erroné.

高校野球をテーマとした長編野球漫画。2人の野球少年であるヒーローと2人のヒロインの、野球にかける青春と恋を描く。

쿠니미 히로와 타치바나 히데오, 노다 아츠시는 세이난 중학교 야구부에서 만난 친구 사이다. 세이난중 야구부는 지역대회에서 우승을 하고, 이들은 야구를 계속 이어가고자 한다. 하지만 히로와 노다는 부상으로 인해 야구를 더 이상할 수 없다는 진단을 받고 야구부가 없는 학교에 입학을 한다. 그러다 어떤 계기로 히로는 야구를 다시 시작하고, 히데오와 코시엔에서 만날 날을 기다린다. 히로에게는 히카리라는 소꿉친구가 있다. 히로는 히카리를 히데오에게 소개시켜준다. 히로는 야구 동아리의 매니저를 맡고 있는 하루카와 연인같은 사이가 되지만 시간이 지나 히카리에 대한 감정이 있다는 것을 깨닫는데...

　　一起乌龙事件，让擅长棒球的国见比吕（古本新之辅 配音）没有去棒球强校，而是选择了一所没有棒球部的高中。曾和他一个初中也是其好朋友的橘英雄（宫本充 配音）则去了棒球名校。但后来，比吕发现之前被诊断为玻璃之手再也不能打棒球的自己居然是蒙古大夫的牺牲品。热爱棒球的他和好友野田敦（津田健次郎 配音）开始了组建棒球部一事。起初困难重重，波折不少。在这期间，比吕认识了新加入的棒球经理，迷糊但认真的古贺春华（铃木真仁 配音）。春华对比吕颇有好感，但比吕心中一直对青梅竹马的雨宫雅玲（今村惠子 配音）怀抱感情。而雅玲则是英雄的女朋友且对比吕也有不一样的情感。复杂的感情交织在一起，求而不得的苦闷、不能求之的郁卒，借由棒球，击出一曲成长的故事。 　　本片共41集，遗憾的是动画版并未做到完结话。

С другой стороны, его лучший друг - Тачибана Хидео, желая попасть на Кашиен поступает в высшую школу Мэйва Дайиччи (весьма и весьма сильная команда) вместе со своей девушкой Амамией Хикари. Эти трое были одноклассниками в младшей школе. Кога Харука, менеджер Клуба Любителей Бейсбола высшей школы Сенкава, случайно знакомится с Хиро... Сможет ли Хиро вернуться в любимый спорт? Пересекутся ли дороги лучших друзей в честном бейсбольном поединке?
