A former scientist who lost his humanity and became a Gear after being biologically modified. He's also a hero of sorts who helped guide humanity to victory in the Crusades. He lost his powers in a prior incident, and now enjoys a quiet life in the countryside away from society. He raised Sin and taught him how to fight.
