The Cedars Carnival Benefit for the new pediatric wing is underway. Bert and a very pregnant Rita are in charge of a booth. Holly, Ed, and Christina go around the attractions as a scary looking clown (Roger in disguise) follows their every move. In the haunted house, Christina gets seperated from Holly and Ed and Roger almost gets hold of her. Dr. Dubois is questioned for information on Roger's wrongdoings, while Diane Ballard puts supplies in Roger's car, and is almost caught. Alan takes Phillip to the bazaar and spots Roger. Elizabeth meets with Jackie, wondering what could be wrong with Mike. Roger tries again to abduct Christina, but is unsuccessful. He curses, and Rita recognizes his voice!
Rita hears Roger curse, and Roger gives chase. Rita ducks into the Hall of Mirrors and Roger follows her in. After trying to get through the mirrors, Rita is taken hostage by Roger and taken back to his apartment. Mike tries to look for Jackie, who has already left the bazaar. Katie Parker tells Hillary that nothing happened the night before between Mark and her and that they have a date tonight. Sarah tells Eve some good news about Rita's pregnancy. Mike's secretary Anne tells Diane that someone in Paris might no where Roger is, as Alan listens in. Mike tells Holly that Roger is indeed alive. Blake is shocked when Holly of all people catch the bouquet. Roger tries to convince Alexandra not to interfere with Nick and Eve. Mallet doesn't want to testify in Vanessa's trial, for fear it will blow his cover. Jenna crashes the wedding party. Mallet and Harley dance, when a knock on the door is heard. Roger confronts Alexandra about Blake's firing from Spaulding, but she maintains that Alan-Michael fired her. Harley opens the door to a concerned Frank who is floored that Harley and Mallet are undercover lovers. Gilly is stunned to learn the ""stalker's"" identity and tries to keep him hidden from a suspicious Hamp. Ross rips Mallet a new one when he finds that he is in a hotel and not out trying to catch Jenna. Speaking of Jenna, she trades Alexandra's earring she stole from the wedding for cash until Frank interrupts and they drop the money. Roger threatens Alexandra that he will take something from her if Blake isn't put back on staff.

Jenna gets suspicious when she sees Mallet with Ross, but Mallet comes up with a quick cover. Alexandra tries to convince Roger to come up with a Plan B when Nick comes in to the station and asks Roger what he was doing in Cambrais. Hart and Bridget commiserate with poetry at dinner. Harley confronts Frank about finding Alex's earring in the cash register, but Frank tells her that he had no clue it was stolen by Jenna. Harley goes to Mallet and Ross with a plan to capture Jenna. Roger tries to dodge Nick's questions, then Nick looks at slides of Cambrais as a mysterious woman named Eve packs to leave for the states, with a photo of Nick!
Ross helps Vanessa get ready for her testimony in court. Nick and Gilly check out the court house, when Vanessa walks in and sees Rebecca (the lawyer) and Jack Kiley getting ready for tomorrow. Holly is surprised to learn that Roger has hired Blake, and even more so that Blake wants to mend their relationship, not knowing her latest scheme to snag Ross from her. Nadine gets blackmailed by a reporter-- if he doesn't get a shot of Vanessa during the trial, he will tell Bill that Nadine tipped him off to the trial. Little Billy is upset that he cannot go to the trial. Ed and Lillian have dinner after her radiation treatment session, and the couple share an awkward conversation before Maureen joins them. Vanessa has a dream that night that Jack Kiley is found not guilty and her friends take turns berating her.
Mallet reminds Harley to keep Jenna away from Vanessa's trial. Eleni asks Alan-Michael for a job. Nadine sneaks in a hidden camera to the trial. Vanessa laments to Fletcher that her past misdeeds are going to come out. Billy tries to tell Bill why he can't go to the trial, while he teaches him how to shave. Jenna talks to Alexandra about her charities and heads to the courthouse in Alex's limo. Stavros tells Frank that he should have accepted Alan-Michael and Eleni's money. A-M is annoyed to get another call from Musette and hangs up on her. Mallet testifies to the jury about Vanessa's slip. Harley tries to keep Jenna from seeing Mallet, to no avail. Musette books a flight to Springfield, while Frank and Eleni have an awkward moment at Stavros'. Vanessa arrives to the courthouse and Rebecca begins to question her, as Little Bill walks in.
Vanessa is unnerved by Little Bill, who is shoo-ed out of the courtroom by Mindy. Mindy tries to explain to him why he shouldn't be there. Meanwhile, Rebecca badgers Vanessa about the two clients she has had sex with. Alan-Michael, Eleni, and Frank argue about the money, and then Blake agrees to help Frank find out what happened in Paris. Musette arrives at the diner and calls A-M. Roger gives Eve her papers and gives her her directions. Maureen walks in on Alan-Michael and Eleni making out. Later, Maureen comes back with a phone call for A-M. It's Musette! A-M tries to cover and slams the phone down. Vanessa is badgered about her relationship with Fletcher. Later, everyone reassures Vanessa that she made a good testimony. Nick finds an old friend from Cambrai.
Harley gets insanely jealous when she sees Mallet and Jenna making out. Afterwords, Mallet tells Jenna about some of his past with Francesca. When Mallet is able to get away, he meets with Harley and they have an intimate moment alone. Stavros has problems with his nurse and yells at her. Eleni arrives and makes Stavros some food. Fletcher and Vanessa are interrupted by a reported and Fletcher gets angry and punches him out. Alan-Michael tries to take advantage of Vanessa's situation and a furious Henry catches him in the act. Jenna finds Frank at the diner and asks him where his girlfriend is. Blake tries to get to Ross with a sexy outfit, and gives him a massage when his back goes out. Blake leaves after Holly calls, rather content that her plan to steal Ross from her mother is working.
Nadine wonders if Billy is jealous that Fletcher loves Vanessa, while Vanessa wonders if Fletcher is the right guy for her. Nick brings Mindy breakfast, as Eve is on a plane to Springfield, remembering the times she spent with Nick. Billy wants to testify in defense of Vanessa, but Ross and Nadine will not hear of it. Gilly keeps David a secret from Hamp when he comes to work to surprise his bride. Roger is relieved to see that Eve got to Springfield safely. Jack Kiley is called to the stand and lies under oath that Vanessa seduced him. Mindy is saddened when her pregnancy test comes up negative. Hamp goes to Gilly's old apartment and sees her on the bed with David and is shocked. Jack continues to lie on the stand about the rape. Nadine is followed by the tabloid reporter. Alexandra is pleased to know that Eve made it to town.
Hamp goes for David's throat, but is relieved when Gilly shouts that David is her brother. During a quiet dinner at a restaurant, David asks Gilly if she has told Hamp his secret. Ross has Jack Kiley on the stand, but Jack is too rehearsed in his testimony to do any damage to his case. The two sides present their summations as Bill asks Fletcher of the name of Jack's previous rape victim. Nadine ushers a reluctant Bill out of the courtroom to evade the tabloid Reporter Bud. Nadine is touched when Bill says that she was his class' ""Best Step Mom."" Nadine gives Bud the broach-camera, but only after she takes out the film. Alex tells Roger that she wishes to see Eve, but he refuses until the time is right. Mindy and Eve meet at the beach, not knowing each other and both talk vaguely about Nick. Alex gets a glimpse of Eve and smiles.
Frank is unnerved when David reveals that he knows that he had an envelope of money. Julie and Hart commiserate over Shakespeare and Lillian and Bridget have a talk about being the third wheel, as Lil keeps looking in Ed's direction. Ed finds out that a friend of Michelle's is hurt. When Musette calls Alan-Michael, he shoo-s Eleni out of the office to Stavros. Musette blackmails A-M, lest she tell Eleni the truth. Jack Keiley is acquitted by a hung jury. Bud harasses Nadine about the tampered film. Dylan catches Julie buying a package of condoms. Bridget finds the condoms when Julie knocks over her purse and is depressed. Eleni gets in an argument with Frank, and Stavros laments how much she has changed while being married to A-M. Billy threatens that ""The jury's not the only thing that's gonna be hung tonight.""

Harley is upset when she finds that her father's name is missing from the Vietnam memorial wall. They try to find someone to get more information, but are forced to wait till the next morning. To try to comfort her, Mallet surprises her with a candle-lit dinner. David finds himself facing parole violations when his officer finds out he moved without authorization. The parole officer allows David to remain living at the boarding house, but only with Gilly (and Hamp's) assurance that they will see to him. Nick is ecstatic that Eve decided to stay in Springfield and the two reach an understanding regarding Mindy. Ed finds Maureen lying on the ground as the paramedics prepare to take her to Cedars. Alan-Michael and Vanessa meet to discuss the business with Jenna and A-M shares an epiphany. Vanessa and A-M rush to Cedars to be with Ed and Maureen. Bridget tells a furious Hart that she wants to move to Montana with Dylan and take Peter with her. Reva chats with Marah, while Annie stands outside with a shiny pair of shears in hand. However, as Annie stars to open the door, Blake pulls up and Annie flees. Blake apologizes to Reva about her involvement with Annie. After Josh can't get information about Dr. Levine from Rick, Abby takes it upon herself to give him the doctor's address. Matt tells Dinah her suspicions that Vanessa may be alive in Switzerland. Annie walks into the courtroom when Alan spots her and demands to know where she was. Alan is worried that Annie is loosing it when she tells him she went to Reva's. Dinah tries to comfort Hart over Bridget and Peter. Josh convinces Dr. Levine to go to testify for Reva. Griffin tries to stall the jury so that Josh has time. Hart tells Bridget that she can go to Montana with Peter. As Ross begins his final summation, Josh barges in with Dr. Levine!

A conversation with Cynthia prompts Vicky to realize that David stole her ID card. Matt arrives at Towers to try to meet with Vanessa. Meanwhile, Vanessa talks with Lillian about her feelings for Matt and realizes that she has dinner plans with him at 8 and goes to wait for him. A scantily clad Vicky meets with David and tries to plot revenge. Matt gets comfort from Beth, who tries to convince him not to go out to drink, alas, he heads straight for Towers. Hart dreams of Cassie while undergoing surgery. When his heart stops, Hart has an otherworldly dream. When he concentrates on Cassie, his pulse reappears on the screen!
After listening to Claire's story, Vince Russo advises her to take the deal that Gus is offering and expose Danny. Claire is reluctant because of the effect this will have on her relationship with Michelle, but Vince says that if she doesn't talk, she may be the one going to jail.

Rick and Mel are thrilled when Sam starts to make progress. Working together further solidifies their bond. Josh and Reva accuse Olivia of plotting with Alan to destroy the Harbor Project. Olivia denies their claim, but Reva comes up with a plan to test her. She tells Josh that they should "allow" Olivia to help them expose Alan. Gus spies a drunken Claire at Towers and calls Michelle to rescue her mother. Later, Harley and Gus talk about Zatunica. Gus thinks that the Santos clan is involved in illegal exportation. Harley muses on whether the Peruviam artifacts are linked to Sam's strange illness.
Reva, Cassie, Blake, and Harley get together for dinner to celebrate the Christmas season. When Blake gets the idea to set Phillip up on a date, she asks a jealous Olivia for advice. Alexandra tries to convince Gus to marry Harley, who is horrified at the advice. Carmen threatens Eden that she will reveal her secrets, as Gus walks in.
Gus and Harley try to forget Alexandra's advice, as Eden agrees to steal Carmen's confession from the police station. However, before she can, Harley catches her. Phillip tries to leave Alan and Olivia alone when he learns of their family plans and Mel and Rick help Blake to set him up with one of their friends. Alexandra and Olivia have a heart-to-heart about children. When Olivia tells Alan she does not want a child just yet, Alan steals her birth control pills.
Bill tells Michelle to be careful with Danny, as Cassie tells Danny that he needs to fight for his wife. Bill gives Danny a warning not to hurt Michelle again. Ross gets Holly to call into Blake's radio show, and Blake misinterprets Ed's message as a declaration of love for Holly. However, Ed comforts Holly when she learns of what happened. Eden tells Harley that her father was on the take and makes a plea that she not tell Gus the truth.
Alan is shocked when Alexandra announces that she is giving Edmund a position on the Spaulding executive board. Phillip brings his date to the mansion and runs into a seething Olivia. Harley tells Frank about Gus' father, and Frank tells her to be careful. Harley sets up a meeting with Joe's old partner. Gus tells Phillip the truth about Eden pushing the man off the roof, but Phillip remains nonchalant. Marah and Tony reminisce and then begin to make love.
Reva and Josh try to deck the halls without their daughter, while Marah pushes Tony away until they are ready to make love. Tony steals a snowmobile so that Marah can get home. Alan mistakes Phillip's present from Olivia as his own. Alan gets the wedding video, but is shocked to see Phillip and Olivia kissing in the elevator! Edmund tries to pump some information out of Alexandra about her motives, but she does not reveal what is in store.
Alan confronts Olivia about the videotape and throws her out of the mansion. Olivia gets into a car accident and calls Phillip for help. Carmen gets a threat from Harley about Gus' father. Harley and Phillip take Zach to see Santa. Zach tells Phillip that he wants to be with his mom for Christmas, and Phillip backs down. Danny files a statement against Carmen against her pleas otherwise.
When he helps Olivia from her accident, Phillip is surprised to learn that Alan has seen the surveillance tape. Phillip breaks into Company when the snow gets too bad. Alexandra tries to convince Alan to go looking for Olivia. When Alan hears from Phillip, he is jealous that his wife turned to his son for help. While Marina and Ben try to tell Michelle about the tension between Danny and Bill, the two gentlemen have another altercation. Bill has a steamy dream about his best friend. Cassie and Danny, as well as Michelle and Bill find themselves stuck inside from the snow.
Blake shoo-s away Mel, Ed, Rick, and Holly, as she prepares to propose to Ross, who accepts. Olivia and Phillip help out a group of stranded carolers. Phillip arrives, but the spirit of the season gets to them all and Alan takes Olivia home. Michelle and Bill pass the time by assembling Robbie's gifts, while Cassie and Danny meet a mysterious old man who inspires them both. Josh is dismayed to have Tony at their Christmas celebration. Harley, Gus, Buzz, and Frank drop Zach off at the Spaulding mansion when they are stuck by the snow, which does not make Alan very happy. Ben gives Marina a special gift.
Gus surprises Harley with a special family heirloom. Roy Baker, the former partner of Gus' father, catches Harley in his apartment. Phillip tries to convince Alan to take back Olivia, while Olivia blames Alexandra for her troubles. Reva receives an ominous phone call and believes it is Edmund, but he gives a credible alibi and Alexandra backs him up.
Michelle and Danny look forward to their date on New Year's Eve. Ed wonders if Danny forced Michelle into attempting to reconcile, but she denies it. Danny and Tony decide on major plans for their two clubs. Ed and Rick tell Danny to be careful with Michelle. Tony is shocked to learn that Eden killed his father and calls Eden. Harley tries to explain what she was doing in Roy's apartment, but Roy is unconvinced. Gus finds out that he and Harley are receiving commendations for their work on the Santos case and calls Roy to invite him to Springfield.
Michelle finds out from Danny that her family confronted them about the date on New Years. Michelle opens the door on New Years to find a gun-toting Carmen, who has come to kidnap her grandson. Cassie helps Danny get ready for his date with Michelle, but cannot help but be reminded of Richard. Bill reassures Beth that there is nothing between him and Michelle, but later gets a pep talk from Reva, Josh, and Billy who urge him to follow his heart. A conversation with Rick urges Phillip to help Olivia and Alan reunite. However, Alan decides to invoke the prenuptial agreement and tries to take away Olivia's half of the Beacon.
Carmen has come to the Bauer house to kidnap Robbie, and demands that Michelle cooperate. Carmen tries to shoot Michelle, but Bill barges in and knocks the Mafia Mama out. Afterward, Michelle rewards Bill with a lip-lock. Danny finds out what happened and feels twinges of guilt. Bill arrives late and Beth spots some blood on his coat, but Bill dodges her questions. Tony talks to Eden, but surprisingly forgives her for what happened with his father and offers her a job at the club, which angers Marah. Harley goes back to Roy's apartment, but Gus is already there and Harley is forced to tell him the truth about his father.
Danny and Ray sit at Carmen's bedside, who is in a coma. Danny tries to get through to Michelle, who tells him that she cannot deal with the danger anymore. Meanwhile, Bill breaks up with a devastated Beth and leaves to see Michelle and Danny kiss and assumes that they are back together. Phillip comforts Beth after her breakup. Later, Phillip is mad at Alan for his invoking of the pre-nup, but Olivia is hell-bent on preserving her marriage. Alexandra threatens to reveal that Alan faked his heart attack after she finds out the lengths he is going to, to make Phillip and Olivia pay. Tony decides to start over with Marah and they look to the future.
Despite Danny's attempts to reassure her, Michelle tells Danny that their relationship is over. Danny tries to convince her to give him another chance, but she walks away. Olivia comes in as Alexandra threatens Alan that she will reveal his faked heart attack to Olivia and Phillip. Olivia is furious at Alan, and when Alan attacks Phillip, Olivia defends him. Later, Alan has a seizure, but Alexandra believes that he is just faking yet again. Blake and Ross plan their wedding, each believing that they want a big wedding, but Ed and Holly convince them otherwise.
Springfield's residents reflect on a post-911 world
When Gus tries to explain the situation, Harley screams at him, and slaps him in the face. Buzz declares to Alex that he will do anything to clear Frank's name, then shows Ross the tape from the Beacon. Frank confronts Alan about his part in his framing. When Alan just shrugs him off, Frank pulls a gun on him. After Harley hisses what her wedding vows would have been, she declares their wedding, and their relationship over. Edmund and Dinah cross paths at the Beacon, while Jeffrey wonders where she is. Olivia is finally handed divorce papers from Phillip. Frank is stunned when he realizes that Darcy has quietly left town. Alexandra announces that there will be no wedding, and is promptly arrested on Ross' orders.
Reva faces painful memories when she finds Jonathan making a scene at the Country Club
Tammy requests that Reva keep Jonathan away from her mother's wedding. Meanwhile, Cassie is furious when Jonathan puts the moves on her outside her bachelorette party. Afterwards, he crashes the party and uses the opportunity to get closer to Reva. Cassie comes hatches a plan to make Reva see for herself how truly evil Jonathan is.
Reva tells Ross that she fears Jonathan will ruin Cassie's wedding. Meanwhile, Cassie takes Jonathan to her room so that she can prove to Reva what a monster her son is. Dinah notices Jonathan going into a drunk Cassie's room, and mischievously hangs up the Do Not Disturb sign.
Cassie wakes up to find herself in bed with Jonathan on the day of her wedding. The lingering effects of the drug only add to her shock and dismay. Jonathan enjoys her confused state. Cassie believes she slept with Jonathan and is completely mortified.
Edmund finds out that Cassie has run off but he holds out hope that she will return. Meanwhile, Cassie wanders into a park where Jeffrey finds her. As he tries to help her she admits she's made a terrible mistake and can't marry Edmund. Jeffrey says that Edmund will love her no matter what but Cassie doesn't think so.
Cassie tells Edmund she wants to get married immediately. Edmund observes that everyone's gone but Cassie insists that they only need one another. Jeffrey shows up and volunteers to perform the ceremony. Unknown to the happy couple Reva arranges for the guests to return to the barn. At the moment Jeffrey pronounces them husband and wife, their friends arrive and burst into applause.
Jonathan lies crumpled at the foot of the stairs, stunning Tammy. Josh thinks that Jonathan staged his own fall but since he's really hurt Josh and Tammy take him to the emergency room. Meanwhile, Reva finds Jeffrey trying to drown his sorrows in a glass of brandy.
Michelle ends her relationship with Danny so that she can move on with Tony. But Tony warns her about that it will be challenging if they return to Springfield as a couple. Despite this Michelle wants to start a new chapter of her life with him. Meanwhile, Marina must somehow tell the Bauers that Danny is presumed dead.
Reva and Josh are at odds over Jonathan's accident. Sandy surprises Jonathan in his room and gives him a taste of his own medicine, taunting and threatening him like he did to Sandy when she was hospitalized. Meanwhile, Cassie's keeps thinking of what happened with Jonathan. She tracks down Reva in an attempt to find out what went down the night Jonathan came to her hotel room.
Jonathan tells Reva his version of what happened in Cassie's room. He then asks her who she's going to believe. Later, Reva realizes Josh wasn't honest about how he really felt about Jonathan. Josh reveals he's been waiting for Jonathan to mess up so Reva will kick him out of her life.
After Jonathan returns to his hospital room he finds Cassie and Reva with the videotape. He panics and begs them not to watch it, prompting Cassie to think that the tape might prove her innocence. In an attempt to keep Reva from viewing the tape Jonathan asks her to trust him, but Cassie insists on seeing it.
Gus makes his case with Beth, as he's sure she knows something about the night Phillip was shot. Alan shows up just as she begins to waver. After getting rid of Beth he tears into Gus for going after members of his own family, which shifts blame away from Harley. Gus refuses to back down, which makes Alan warn him not to make an enemy out of him.
Gus determinedly keeps the pressure on Beth, hoping to make her crack and reveal what she knows about Phillip's murder. Harley and Beth meet on neutral ground - their children's school play rehearsal. Harley tries to push Beth's buttons while the moms are busy helping with sets and costumes.
Cassie attempts to get Jonathan off her mind, but a special delivery of flowers from an unknown sender brings back her worst fears. Meanwhile, Dinah deviously reveals to Edmund that she knows why Cassie nearly didn't reach the altar. Edmund can't help but be intrigued.
Harley and Gus can't agree on how best to find Beth. They join the Cooper football game then decide to do whatever the winner wants. After Harley finds out that Beth is spooked and has skipped town, she's more convinced than ever that they should go after her just as Gus wants.
Gus takes Harley to the Springfield Inn to prevent her from leaving the county. He's afraid she'll leave in an attempt to track down Beth. He warns her that jumping bail would make her look guilty in the eyes of any jury. But Harley's convinced that if she's able to grill Beth she can finally know for sure whether she's guilty or innocent.
Harley finds Beth at the Spa and prods her for the truth regarding what happened the night Phillip died. Beth tells Harley that she didn't kill Phillip but that she was prepared to run away with him. She also says she would've kidnapped Harley's children if it meant not losing James and Lizzie.
Harley is certain she's doomed after her pre-trial hearing has gone poorly. She talks Gus into taking a day off from her case. Harley then proceeds to use the down time to prepare her family for life once she's sent to jail. Gus knows what she's doing and refuses to give up on her.
Michelle shows up unexpected at Company in the hopes of spending the day with Robbie. But she discovers her little boy has his own busy schedule that's not so easy to change it at the last second. Marina's looking forward to a date with Danny so she's nice about it. But when Michelle insists she knows what's best for her son, Danny appears and is clearly upset.
Tammy arouses Edmund's suspicions by mentioning the flowers Cassie received. Edmund tries to get some answers from Jeffrey, who tells him he should concentrate on loving Cassie, not suspecting her. Edmund believes Jeffrey when he tells him he's not after Cassie and returns home.
Reva and Jonathan are caught by the music store security but Reva manages to talk their way out of trouble. Jonathan's impressed and points out that she got a buzz from the illegal encounter. Reva later decides not to tell Josh about it. Meanwhile, Edmund confronts Cassie on the pregnancy test that she neglected to tell him about.
Cassie waits anxiously for her pregnancy test results, which are delayed. She leaves after a call from Harley and makes plans to meet up with Edmund later to get the results. She runs into Reva and Jonathan, who are working together to hotwire Reva's car. Cassie interrupts and Reva surprisingly takes her side against Jonathan.
At a meeting of the Spaulding board Alan pressures Gus into making a choice between his family and Harley. When Lizzie lets into Gus and shows her bruises to Alan and Alex, Alan surprises everyone by staying calm and insisting that Lizzie is overreacting.
Olivia pitches herself to Alan as the new head of Spaulding. Olivia argues that Spaulding needs someone as ruthless and ambitious as Alan himself and that she fits the bill. He laughs at the idea but she's persuasive and he starts to think it might work, as long as Bill plays no part.
At Harley's house Gus reminds her that she has a future, but Harley is discouraged and decides it's time to take the plea. Gus let's her have it and points out it will break her sons' hearts if she says she admits to this murder. Later, Harley asks Danny to help her fix her jury.
Cassie ditches Edmund so she can meet with Jonathan and learn what happened the night before the wedding. She phones Jonathan, who just told Reva that he had nothing to do with vandalizing her new car. Jonathan agrees to tell Cassie the truth if she'll just leave Reva alone.
Harley would like to forget her troubles and lose herself in Gus's arms. But when Gus senses that her feelings are really a way of saying goodbye, he tries to convince her that this night could be a beginning rather than an ending.
