    This week in Gridiron Heights, a downtrodden group of kickers gather for support. As they have learned the hard way, nobody cares about kickers until they mess up. Before his Week 7 missed overtime field goal against the Arizona Cardinals, fans paid so little attention to Steven Hauschka that they didn't realize his actual name is Stephen. At least Dustin Hopkins and Roberto Aguayo also understand the kicker struggle. On a happier note, Russell Wilson throws an early baby shower with Seattle Seahawks teammates and some surprise guests. Yet it appears the quarterback didn't invite Hauschka. Figures.

    Santa Claus is giving the gift of football this Christmas. Following a packed Christmas Eve slate, the NFL will celebrate Sunday's holiday with two special division showdowns. Although NBA action has grown into a Christmas Day tradition, Kris Kringle declared his love for football in this special edition of Gridiron Heights. He even compelled noted grinch Roger Goodell to embrace the seasonal spirit. Of course, his rap may later draw a fine from the NFL commissioner.

  • S01E16 Le'Veon Bell, Antonio Brown Play Video Games on GHBox

    After placing a bow on the AFC North, Pittsburgh Steelers stars Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown unwrapped a video game console for Christmas. Both players earned a great gift following Sunday's division-clinching win over the Baltimore Ravens. Bell compiled 137 total yards and two touchdowns against one of the league's toughest offenses, and Brown reached out to narrowly produce Pittsburgh's game-winning score. In the latest edition of Gridiron Heights, they celebrated by playing GHBox, which includes titles such as Manning Kart, Angry Falcons and Gronkey Kong. It's only fitting, as they're both posting video game numbers this season.

    There's no greater drama than the NFL playoffs, an unforgiving slate of win-or-go-home showdowns to determine the Super Bowl champion. Von Miller and Cam Newton played leading roles in last year's final act, but both stars are spectators this time around. In the latest episode of Gridiron Heights, they start their offseason with a trip to the movie theater, where they're presented with a trailer for Playoffs: The Movie. Will the New England Patriots or Dallas Cowboys pen a predictable script, or will an underdog deliver a true Hollywood ending? Like Miller and Newton, everyone will have to watch to find out.

  • S01E18 Aaron Rodgers Sinks Giants' Party Boat with Hail Mary

    The New England Patriots watched Wild Card Weekend knowing they would receive a manageable opponent in the divisional round. That did not stop them from meticulously scouting every possible second-round foe. In the latest episode of Gridiron Heights, Tom Brady and Co. spent the weekend hiding in their Spygate van to stake out their underwhelming AFC adversaries. With the Houston Texans looming, they will switch exclusively to the "Overpaid QB Cam." At least they won't have to worry about Playoff Eli Manning, who couldn't stop Aaron Rodgers from torpedoing the New York Giants' chances of cruising to another Super Bowl. The Patriots haven't learned their lesson about subverting the rules, but will Big Blue cause football fans to see the error of overrating small sample sizes?
