Season 1

  • S01E01 Episode 1

    • November 20, 2012

In this episode the Gower Society goes on a surveillance mission - taking aerial photos of the caravan sites and local businesses to make sure they haven't made any changes without permission. Understandably this doesn't go down well with the locals. Most Gower farmers have had to diversify to survive and Rob Morgan's sheep have been replaced by Christmas trees and reindeer. Local surfing hero PJ looks back over the accident that nearly killed him; a caravan arriving at its site causes chaos in the village, and father and son butchers Paul and Phillip Tucker are talking at cross purposes.

    • November 27, 2012

In episode two, Ian Williams at the Oxwich Bay Hotel has been battling with the Gower Society and Swansea City planners for four years to keep his marquee up year round. He says if they take the marquee away, they will take away thirty years of his life and his business. Penclawdd butcher and independent councillor Paul Tucker is getting flak on the doorsteps as he canvasses for the next election, and young surfer Milly has a disappointment at one of her first major events. Nicky and Eddie Beynon are sheep farming the traditional way - against an incredible backdrop of the Worm's Head. But there's a threat to their flock.

  • S01E03 Episode 3

In this episode, summer has arrived and the locals are preparing to compete in the annual Gower Show. Llandewi and Knelston WI is determined to win the shield but first there are some important factors to work out - like how to stop cucumber getting soggy. Christmas tree farmer Rob Morgan brings his reindeer to the show and the Gower Society comes under fire again for their aerial pictures of caravan sites. The bad weather is disappointing for local business owners but the sun comes out for the show and the competition is fierce.
