Teddy, Amy and Charlie plan a trip to Chicago to visit their rich great-aunt Nell, where they are instead mistaken for the Duncan Sisters, a famous hip-hop dance duo and are taken to the dance studio of "Shake It Up, Chicago". Amy pretends that she, Teddy and Charlie are sisters in order to accomplish her dreams of being on TV, but since they do not know how to dance, they enlist the help of dancers CeCe Jones (Bella Thorne) and Rocky Blue (Zendaya). Back at home, Gabe and PJ hold a yard sale in hopes of raising money while cleaning out the attic, but wind up selling a cat cookie jar with $500 in it to Mrs. Dabney; Bob is obsessed with a TV show, Higgins and Zork.
Les filles Duncan rendent visite à leur tante à Chicago et se retrouvent par erreur sur le plateau de «Shake It Up Chicago», où on les prend pour de célèbres danseuses. Restés à Denver, Gabe et PJ organisent un vide-grenier...

Teddy e Amy decidono di partire per Chicago per andare a trovare una loro prozia, ma vengono scambiate per delle sorelle-ballerine hip hop e vengono assunte nel cast di Shake it up Chicago, ma visto che non sanno ballare vengono aiutate da Rocky e CeCe. Intanto a casa Duncan Gabe e PJ cercano di fare soldi facendo pulizia in soffitta, ma alla fine cercano di vendere un gatto, che avrà successo con la signora Dabney.
Amy, Teddy a Charlie tento víkend odlétají do Chicaga na návštěvu k bohaté tetě, aby ji přemluvili k přepsaní závěti na rodinu Duncanových. Na letišti je vyzvedne limuzína, která je doveze až do televizního studia, odkud je vysílán taneční pořad Na parket. Všichni se těší na příjezd dlouho očekávaných sester Duncanových, ovšem nikdo neví, jak ve skutečnosti vypadají a tak toho Amy a Teddy náležitě využijí, ovšem jen do doby než se skutečné sestry Duncanovi na parketu objeví. Mezitím PJ a Gabe pořádají bazar.
