Als der große Abend gekommen ist, hat sie kurzerhand ihre Familienmitglieder durch begabtere Tänzer ersetzt. Leider werden die echten Duncans Zeugen dieses Betruges und sind etwas verschnupft. Ivy und Teddy geraten in Streit, weil Ivy mit ihrem Freund Raymond und Teddy "s Ex Spencer ausgegangen ist.
Amy persuades the family to take part in a benefit for her hospital so she can beat her long-time arch-rival, Fran Culpepper (Devika Parikh). When they prove uncooperative in the rhythmic dancing, Amy hires professional dancers to replace the members of the family except for Charlie. Meanwhile, Teddy's classmate Lynette does not invite her to her party but she invites Ivy. Later, she finds out that Ivy has been making up excuses to go somewhere else and Teddy suspects that Ivy attended the party without her. Also, Gabe and PJ sell "old junk" on the Internet to raise money.
Amy veut que toute la famille participe à un spectacle de danse mais personne, a part elle, n'a le sens du rythme. Teddy soupçonne Ivy d'être allée à une fête sans elle, malgré sa promesse de ne pas s'y rendre par solidarité avec elle.

Amy convince la famiglia a ballare per una causa di beneficenza e per riuscire a battere il suo rivale,ma visto che la famiglia non sa ballare, la sostituisce con dei ballerini professionisti, ad eccezione di Charlie. Intanto Gabe e PJ vendono vecchia spazzatura su Internet per fare soldi. Teddy non è stata invitata alla festa di una sua compagna di classe, così invita Ivy a casa sua, ma lei trova una scusa per non andare e Teddy sospetta che sia andata alla festa senza di lei.
Nemocnice, ve které pracuje Amy pořádá každoroční soutěž talentů. Amy se tentokrát rozhodne přihlásit celou svou rodinu, aby tak z pomyslného trůnu sesadila tolik nenáviděnou kolegyni Fran. Bob, Teddy, PJ a Gabe však hudebním ani tanečním talentem příliš neoplývají a tak Amy nezbývá nic jiného než zbytku rodiny namluvit, že byla soutěž zrušena a vystoupit sama. PJ a Gabe najdou nový způsob snadného výdělku. Na internetu prodají veškeré věci, které už nepotřebují, ovšem vymkne se jim to z rukou. Teddy zjišťuje, že Ivy byla za jejími zády na rande se Spencerem.
Amy planuje duży występ na gali charytatywnej i próbuje namówić resztę rodziny, aby z nią wystąpiła.
