Shen Xingruo part s'installer chez Lu Shan, un ami de son père. Elle doit cohabiter avec Xingyan, le fils de ce dernier, et poursuit ses études dans le même lycée que lui. Si au début, ils semblent ne pas s’apprécier, Xingruo et Xingyan finissent pourtant par s’attacher l’un à l’autre.
Al ser transferida de regreso a su antigua secundaria, Shen Xing Ruo se muda a la casa de un amigo de su padre, donde conoce al hijo de este, Lu Xing Yan.
