Gleek of the Week is a podcast dedicated to finding the best song of the hit show, Glee. While it's been off the air for a number of years now, best friends Andrew McGuire and Allison Dodge are seeking to revitalize it, with the help of a different Gleek every week, to crown the ultimate Glee performance. Each episode, six songs are randomly selected from the Glacket (the Glee Bracket) and discussed in depth. Listen along as the hosts and the Gleek of the Week debate about the show and narrow down the best number from Glee.
Oh my Glod! Welcome to the very first episode of Gleek of the Week! On this episode, Andrew and Allison introduce the pod and how the Glacket, the Glee bracket works. Jenny Gorelick, host of the Receipts podcast, is the very first Gleek of the Week guest! We love her! The first six songs of the bracket are chosen, including an Artie solo, a Klaine duet, and the campiest of songs, the stripped down rendition of Baby Got Back.
Puppets? Conspiracies? Becky as baby Jesus? It’s all in this episode of the Gleek of the Week podcast. So here's the deal gleekies.. I don't know if you heard, but there's a strike going on. Looking at the updated guidelines surrounding podcasts; continuing our pod and discussing Glee would be crossing a picket line and our glother's raised us better than that. So! We didn't want to completely halt podcast production because we love y'all too much. We contacted members at SAG, and asked if discussing reality television was okay to do while the strike is going on and they said "yes!" And there happens to be a reality tv show called "The Glee Project" which you may have heard of. Until a fair deal is made with the WGA and SAG, we will be doing weekly recaps of each episode of The Glee Project seasons one and two. We'll be reaching out to the contestants from the series to see if they're interested in discussing more about their time on the show and answering any questions y'all may have for them as well.
Hi friends! We’re back with some strike-approved content for y’all: Glee Project recaps! This episode, we’re talking about the season premiere and the theme Individuality. If you'd like to watch along with us, you can find a link in our beacons here.
