Forced into the subway by a new Inbit mecha, Stick's group is sealed inside the tunnels. With Mint missing and the team buried alive, tensions explode. Jim snaps, starting fights with Rey and Stick. The bitter conflict convinces Rey and Houquet to leave the group for good if they manage to escape. After Rey engineers a way out, they are overjoyed to find Mint alive and waiting for them. Despite the reunion, Rey and Houquet stick to their decision and say their goodbyes. At the last moment, however, they have a change of heart and rejoin the team. The ordeal, meant to tear them apart, ultimately unifies them as they finally close in on their destination: Reflex Point.
