Ein Austauschprogramm für "sicheren Tourismus" führt die deutsche Polizistin Sophie Maibachs (Anke Retzlaff - "Über die Grenze") nach Teneriffa. Allerdings verfolgt sie dort auch noch andere Absichten. Vor fünf Jahren ist ihr Vater (Michael Roll) bei einem Unfall mit Fahrerflucht gestorben. Vieles deutet darauf hin, dass der Verursacher ebenfalls auf Teneriffa lebt.
