Mit vereinten Kräften kann man den Homunkulus kampfunfähig machen, doch danach wirft Olivier Mira Armstrong die verwirrten Brüder ins Gefängnis. Kurz darauf holt sie sie aber wieder raus und verlangt, dass sie ihr alles erzählen. Kurz darauf erfährt Ed, dass Liore im Chaos versunken ist, nachdem sie damals den falschen Priester Cornello entlarvt hatten.

After Olivier comes up with a plan to stop Sloth, Buccaneer forcefully recruits the Elrics and Falman for the plan. With everything in place, Olivier and her trio of tanks ram Sloth into the elevator which is sent down to the level with the exposed walkway. The confused Sloth walks out of the elevator and immediately gets fuel spilled onto him by Buccaneer's group and is pushed over the railings with a combined effort from Olivier's tank, Falman, and the Elrics. The fuel spilled onto Sloth is cold weather fuel that evaporates even in the middle of winter, and with blizzard conditions outside Sloth is quickly frozen. After freezing Sloth, Olivier orders Buccaneer to put the Elrics into the fort's holding cells so she can question them later. The next morning, the Elrics are thanked by several soldiers for helping during Sloth's invasion, but the soldiers still wouldn't let the Elrics out of their cell.

지하에서 나온 호문쿨루스를 얼려버리는 것으로 사태를 일단락한 브릭스 군. 올리비에와 함께 지하 터널에 들어간 엘릭 형제는 그곳이 국토 연성진을 위한 원형 터널이라는 사실을 알아내고 올리비에에게 협력을 요청한다. 올리비에는 그 후 요새를 방문한 레이븐 중장을 슬쩍 떠보는데…

La General Armstrong realiza un plan para detener al homunculo, el cual consiste en congelarlo usando un aceite especial. Posteriormente Los Hermanos Elric son arrestados por la general. Kimblee se encuentra en el hospital pero es visitado por Raven y un alquimista medico el cual usa la piedra para curar sus heridas. La general Armstrong, sus subordinados y los hermanos se adentran al tunel que estava haciendo Sloth, una vez que llegaron lo mas lejos la general obliga nuevamente a interrogativo a Ed y a Al los cuales les cuenta todo con detalle y esta deacuerdo en ayudar a los Hermanos por el bien de la muralla. Llega Raven y Kimblee a la muralla en busca de ayuda de la General, la cual comienza a poner en curso un plan.

Po walce z homunkulusem, generał Armstrong aresztuje braci Elric, aby zmusić ich do wyjawienia prawdy. Ed i Al zdradzają jej część ze swoich planów, a następnie wraz z nią i kapitanem Buccaneerem udają się do podziemi, aby zbadać tunel, kopany przez Slota. Do twierdzy przybywa także Kimblee i generał Raven.

Ed ontdekt een omvangrijk complot, waardoor er al talloze slachtoffers zijn gevallen. Het lijkt erop dat Fort Briggs ook niet ongeschonden uit de strijd zal komen.
