Der Arbalest kommt zum Einsatz. Sousuke steigt ein und in diesem mächtigen Arm Slave hat er keine Probleme, Gegner aus dem Weg zu räumen. Schließlich kann er sich Gauron im Zweikampf stellen und beide aktivieren ihren Lamba-Driver. Jetzt kann man nur hoffen, dass Sousuke rechtzeitig herausfindet, wie der Lamba-Driver funktioniert.
Sagara and Kaname barely escapes from the enemy. Now on the run they try to find a way out. Deep in the forest Sagara isn't able to move much more with his injuries, so Kaname decides to stop and rest for a bit. After Sagara was able to stop the bleeding, Kaname realizes how dangerous and mysterious Sagara really is. To make matters worse they find an unexpected person along the way, it's Kurtz, who looks badly beaten by Gaul. As the 3 try to make to the shoreline they find themselves in a tight pinch; the forest ended and all there is now is plain fields. Not Knowing what to do Sagara had only one idea left - to have himself and Kurtz distract the enemy force while Kaname makes a run to safety. But Kaname refuses to leave.
Gauron a suivis les traces des fuyards et un combat entre les 2 AS s'engage. A ce moment, Sousuke n'a pas connaissance de la puissance que possède son AS mais et n'a aucune chance de gagner. Cependant grâce aux conseils que Chidori lui transmet inconsciemment, il arrive à faire marcher le Lambda Drive qui lui permet de battre Gauron. La menace étant écartée, ils peuvent fuir en direction du sous-marin. De retour au japon, Melissa conseil à Chidori d'oublier cette histoire pour son bien....
Sousuke si trova ora a bordo dell'Arbalest ma, nonostante si tratti di un modello particolarmente potente, non sembra poter nulla contro l'AS argentato pilotato da Gauron. Sarà Kaname a fornire a Sousuke un aiuto determinante.
La ragazza, infatti, in seguito agli esperimenti subiti, riesce ad attingere a conoscenze che non sapeva di possedere e istruirà Sousuke su come usare il Lambda Driver, un dispositivo installato sull'Arbalest che reagisce alla volontà del pilota grazie al quale Sousuke riuscirà a sconfiggere il nemico ed a rientrare sul De Danaan. Nonostante la morte di Gauron, il maggiore Kalinin ritiene opportuno che Kaname resti sotto la sorveglianza di Sousuke, rendendo così molto felice la ragazza.

Sagara e Kaname mal escapam do inimigo. Agora em fuga, eles tentam encontrar uma saída. Nas profundezas da floresta, Sagara não consegue se mover muito mais com os ferimentos, então Kaname decide parar e descansar um pouco.
