Weil Danny und Joey noch eine Verabredung haben, muss Jesse das Babysitting alleine übernehmen. Aus mehrerlei Gründen verläuft der Abend ausgesprochen turbulent... Danny und seine beiden Freunde haben alle Hände voll damit zu tun, die drei kleinen Quälgeister einigermaßen im Zaum zu halten und rechtzeitig ins Bett zu bekommen. Nach endlosen Versuchen scheint im Hause Tanner endlich Ruhe eingekehrt zu sein. Weil sie noch eine Verabredung haben, bitten Danny und Joey den guten Jesse, das Babysitting an diesem Abend alleine zu übernehmen. Jesse willigt ein, doch kaum hat Vater Danny das Haus verlassen, werden die Kleinen wieder rege und veranstalten ein unbeschreibliches Chaos. Doch auch Jesse hat die "sturmfreie Bude" ausgenutzt und seine Rockband zu einer Probe ins Hause Tanner eingeladen. Für D.J. und Stephanie eine willkommene Gelegenheit, mal so richtig die Sau rauszulassen...
Danny is scheduled to do the 10pm sports at the TV station, Joey is scheduled to perform his comedy routine at the Laugh Machine at 10pm, and Jesse is scheduled to hold rehearsals with his band, Jesse and the Rippers, at 10pm, but one of the guys must sacrifice what he is scheduled to do and stay home with the girls. Danny and Joey choose Jesse to make that sacrifice, but Jesse finds a way to be with the Rippers anyway -- he invites the band over to the house for rehearsals in the living room, and of course D.J. and Stephanie don't want to miss it. That's why Danny is not delighted by what he sees when he gets home. Not only are Stephanie and Michelle still up, but their hair has also been colored purple.

Danny y Joey están de acuerdo en elegir a Jesse para que haga ese sacrificio, pero Jesse encuentra una manera de estar con los Rippers al mismo tiempo - invita a la banda a casa para ensayar en el salón y desde luego, DJ y Stephanie no quieren perdérselo. A Danny no le gusta lo que ve cuando llega a casa, no sólo porque Michelle y Stephanie están todavía despiertas, sino porque les han teñido el pelo de morado.
