Reporter Batlet Milanzi introduces Oki-gusuri, a unique medicine system of Japan where people "use now, pay later." In order to dig deeper into the folklore and the birthplace of Oki-gusuri, she visits Toyama Prefecture. Subsequently, Milanzi introduces a novel initiative taken by a young Japanese pharmacist who has rolled out the system of Oki-gusuri in Milanzi's home country Tanzania, and how it has already started affecting the lives of people living in villages in Tanzania.
