Experimental Triple-Magazine Henry Rifle

http://www.patreon.com/ForgottenWeapons Cool Forgotten Weapons merch! http://shop.bbtv.com/collections/forgotten-weapons This rifle is an experimental twist on the Henry, built with three magazine tubes in a fixture pivoting around the axis of the barrel. While only half the length of the barrel itself, the three tubes allow a capacity of 21 rounds, compared to the original design's 16. The magazine assembly also acts as a front handguard, and removes the issue of the exposed follower tab on the original design. However, it adds a level of complexity, expense, and weight to the rifle that had to be balanced against its larger capacity. This idea was not put into production, and the only known example is this one. Thanks to the Cody Firearms Museum for allowing me access to film it!
