Gabriel und Rosa sind die Zweitbesetzung der "Fledermaus"-Operette von Johann Strauß. Und gerade dabei, sich zu trennen. Ihre Beziehungskrise kracht mitten in die Proben. Rosa hat beruflich große Pläne und beginnt eine Affäre. Gabriel will herausfinden, mit wem und fühlt sich von den vielen Veränderungen überrollt. Als Rosa feststellt, dass sie schwanger ist, eskaliert die Situation.
