Bruno runs away from were he's just shot Conrad. Lucy returns home and begs for forgiveness. On a nearby street estate, a mother Joly, tells her children Yasmin and Rees that it's time they went to find their father - Bruno Milligan. Oliver's put and left in a awkward position. Amber's told Conrad is dead. Rock icon, Garry Ryan is announced as the new Chairman of Earls Park FC. Giles dead body is found.
Lucy feels guilty for attending Conrad's funeral aware that Bruno is the one who killed him. Bruno's more worried about introducing Yasmin and Rees to the press. Garry is furious when Oliver, who's taking more drugs writes off his Bentley. Rees gets drunk at Conrad's wake, much to his fathers embarassment. Harley is asked to move to Spain and even though undecided at first Shannon decides to go with him.
Harley arranges to go on ahead to Madrid for a medical and believes that Shannon is staying at home. He is actually travelling with Katie. Eager to surprise him, Shannon books herself a ticket and hot foots it to the airport only to bump into Katie. Initially, Shannon innocently believes that their encounter is a coincidence, but when Katie reveals the truth, she is mortified. Realising that she has lost her husband, Shannon leaves the airport and watches, heartbroken as an ecstatic Harley and Katie greet each other outside. Both Rees and Lucy are furious when Bruno gives Yasmin a wadge of cash so that she can buy some new clothes. Although he still stands by his plan to kick the twins out of the house once Angelica’s birthday party is out of the way, Lucy is concerned that he would prefer to keep Yasmin around. Angry after another row, Rees heads back to his old estate and scores a bag of ecstasy from a dealer. The dealer is impressed with Rees’s new lifestyle and is full of plans for how they can exploit his new connections to their mutual advantage. Oliver attends his first therapy session where he reveals that he found his mother dead from a heroin overdose when he was seven-years-old. It is clear that he has no interest in having another session. However, upon joining Garry and Anika for dinner, they get him to agree to a residency at The Cloister Clinic. Lucy and Yasmin’s tetchiness spirals into a full scale row when Yasmin refuses to get a job. Bruno arrives home to find Lucy steaming drink, having raided the mini-bar, she’s furious that he favours Yasmin more than Rees. Bruno plays a blinder – it’s because Rees reminds him of how he could have turned out. Although Anika personally delivered Oliver to the clinic, it’s not long before he is sat at a bar, glass in hand with the leaflet for the clinic rolled up into a tube and ready for action. Later, after an afternoon session between the sheets, Garry and Anika are lying in her darken
Rees may have ruined everything. Yasmin drags him straight down to the hospital to check on Angelica, but not before the six-year-old has told Bruno where she got the ‘bad sweets’ from. Clocking Rees approaching the ward, Bruno goes for him and hurls him across the corridor. He also takes back Rees’s house keys, telling him never to darken the doorstep again. After a moment’s hesitation, Yasmin heads off to join her ‘new family’, leaving Rees all alone. Luckily for Anika and Garry, Oliver is so out of it that they are both able to get out of bed and get dressed without disturbing him. Oliver is woken with a glass of water in the face and, although he is surprised to see Garry there, he doesn’t suspect anything. Now recovered from their close call, Garry and Anika have a go at Oliver for checking himself out of the clinic. Bruno is all for calling the police but Lucy convinces him otherwise – after everything that happened with Conrad, does he really want the police sniffing around their house? Yasmin meanwhile ensures that she spins the entire situation to her advantage – Bruno should see that she’s very different from Rees, absolutely her father’s daughter. Seb is also firmly wrapped around Yasmin’s finger and finds himself formally asking Bruno if he can take his daughter out. Bruno agrees, but as long as Seb keeps his mitts to himself. Anika keeps Garry happy in more ways than one when she assures him that Oliver is safely back in the rehab clinic and then lets him take her over his desk. There’s nothing like a bit of overtime to keep the boss happy. Back at her apartment, Oliver is housebound because the money that Garry is giving him to pay for his treatment is going straight into Anika’s bank account. Lucy catches Yasmin going through her wardrobe in search of something to wear with her date with Seb and flatly refuses to lend her any of her clothes. Enter Daddy to the rescue. As he bought all of Lucy’s clothes, Bruno
Bruno calls a halt to the training session amidst a torrent of abuse from Joly. Now parked up in his car Bruno and Joly are at logger heads over his treatment of the twins. He justifies his lavish gestures to Yasmin as making up for lost time – why shouldn’t a father buy nice things for his daughter. She reminds him that his name is on both of their birth certificates plus the certificate she pulls from her pocket and flings in his lap, it’s Joly and Bruno’s wedding certificate… and it’s still valid. Seb lends Yasmin a friendly ear as she tells him that her stuff will probably be in bin bags when she gets back to Bruno and Lucy’s. He jokes that she’s trying to angle her way into moving in with him and is disappointed when she cuts him dead. Wondering why he finished training so early he tells her about the incident at the ground with her dad and the mysterious lady that wanted his balls on a plate. Scared of being labelled a bigamist, Bruno wines and dines Joly in an expensive restaurant, stroking her hand, telling her what a great job she’s done with the kids and how much he’s missed her, all before offering her fifty grand for the wedding certificate and a quickie divorce. Joly’s seen right through him and ups the ante; one hundred and fifty grand and she’ll give him what he’s after… they raise their glasses, toasting their new arrangement. Gary’s PA Michelle Thorn is back from compassionate leave and she is immediately irritated by Anika, who swans in late, suggesting that they swap desks, as she’ll now be looking after Garry’s more personal needs. Garry steps into the office and gestures for Anika to follow him, mentions her bad time keeping and motions to a plush new sports car handing her the keys suggesting she take him for a ride. It’s not long before they pull into a lay by to christen the car with an al fresco bonnet top session. Bruno drops Joly off at the airport then returns home to tell Lucy that he th
At the Milligan’s house, Lucy tells Bruno that she can’t trust him if he sneaks off seeing his ex behind her back. Bruno brings up Giles, relieved she doesn’t know the full story. She tells him that she’s taking Angelica to her mum’s for a few days; desperately trying to gain control he asks if she’ll renew their vows realising he’s up to his neck in it. Garry tells Anika that she’s to move in with him, they should tell Oliver about their affair and be shot of him, she tells him to leave it to her. As Anika goes to leave Garry’s office, Michelle quickly peels her ear from the door. Bruno and Angelica are led into a consulting room, Bruno quietly discusses the procedure before leaving the ‘doctor’ to it. Faced with a plastic cup filled with an inch of pink liquid, Angelica is assured that she won’t feel sick, just very sleepy. In a London hotel, a transformed Joly greets her stunned children looking fab in designer gear. Yasmin begs her stay with them at the new flat, Rees is not so keen. Joly agrees to come over for lunch and Yasmin is made up, her plan seems to be working out just fine. Stunned by her confession Oliver can’t believe Anika would have sex with his saggy old man, she tries to explain that it’s all for them, once she has Garry’s full trust she’ll take him for all he’s got. Oliver grabs his car keys and races out the door ranting and raving about killing his dad. Whilst Joly and Rees are preoccupied, Yasmin sneaks in a quick call to Bruno, telling him that she needs him to come over. Lucy is packed and ready to go, as Bruno is busy on the phone she searches for her car keys – has he hidden them? In his jacket pocket she finds a ring-box with one hell of a sparkler inside, she quickly puts it back. He suddenly announces that he’s off to check on the new flat and mentions if she’s thought any more about the vows, although he seems a bit blasé. Is he playing her at her own game? Oliver marc
Oliver lounges round the flat discussing his plans for world domination with mate Ed as Anika sheepishly lets herself in. Announcing that she’s come for her things, he tells her not to bother, a glimmer of hope perhaps? She’s back to earth with a bang when he hands her two packed bags, demands the keys and slams the door behind her. The morning after the night before, Rees’s head is thumping, Yasmin reminds him that it’s his first day; Bruno has organised a job for him at Nabakov’s Cocoon. Returning with the breakfast, Seb proudly shows Yasmin the headline in today’s Sun, ‘Sparks! Own Goal, Seb Scores with Skipper’s Girl’, he sees that she’s not as cool with it as he is; this is all she needs to add to her stress. Lucy frantically searches for her passport whilst giving Bruno an earful, she was totally humiliated after seeing the rock she thought was for her on Joly’s finger. No amount of grovelling is going to get him out of this one. Rees’ idea of a free ride is stamped on from a great height when he reports to bully boy head chef Matt Bryant at the club. Matt lets him know that although he’s the boss’s son, it is him who’s in charge of things, before barking at him to scrub all the ovens out. Garry and Anika pull up outside Rampant Sounds, the pavement is swarming with paparazzi. As Garry goes to get out of the car she pulls him back, and puts his sunglasses on him to cover up his shiner. The flash of bulbs is blinding as they emerge from the car, it’s official, they’re a couple, Anika’s loving it. After parting on bad terms Seb and Yasmin arrange to meet. Outside the flat she’s approached by a guy who introduces himself as an employee of Cash Brown, after a brief hesitation she gets into the car. As his lackey minds the door, Cash looks Yasmin up and down approvingly, long time no see, it’s obvious that Cash is in favour of his ‘little bird’s’ new-look. Bruno sits at the computer, his face a pictur
Seb turns up at Rees’ flat at the crack of dawn, eager to know if he’s heard from Yasmin. When Seb threatens to call the police to report her missing Rees warns him against the idea. Yasmin wakes up to find a fully clothed Cash fast asleep with his arm draped over her. She manages to sneak his phone out into the hall, frantically types a text message and presses send. Relieved, she turns around to see Cash standing behind her. As Garry and Anika enter the office Michelle hurriedly shoves something into her desk draw, flashing Anika a smug grin. Totally out of character, she is concerned over Anika’s hangover, all those bright lights? Anika queries that Michelle ‘innocently’ means the paparazzi flashbulbs, what else? Having been left in control of the club by Bruno whilst he’s in Spain, Joly proves that she’s no pushover when it comes to business. Seeing an opportunity to launch their new venture Chukka Ent. at Nabakov’s Cocoon, Oliver and Ed come to her with a grandiose proposal, only for her to rip it up and name her terms. Seeing that Michelle has left the key in her drawer whilst she is out at lunch, Anika seizes the chance to go rummaging. She finds a file with her name on it containing photocopies of bank statements on which Anika’s fraudulent money transfers have been highlighted - Michelle is messing with the wrong woman. Having received Yasmin’s text message, Rees and Seb find themselves at Cash’s front door. They are led in to find a scared looking Yasmin sitting on the sofa, Cash totes on a spliff with his arm around her. Cash stands, gesturing to his heavy as they push Seb back and forth before telling him he can have Yasmin. As the three of them make a hasty exit down the stairs they realise they’ve been tricked, no way up, no way down. Yasmin screams as Cash’s gang lay into her brother and Seb. In her customized car with blacked out windows Chanel is disturbed, mid-shag, as her best mate Yasmin rings out of t
Anika is shocked when she comes across explicit images of her and Garry shagging on his office desk. He really is a dirty old pervert! Goodness knows how many other tapes he has recorded. Anika is determined to locate his hidden cameras and stash of tapes, as she can’t afford for these to fall into the wrong hands. Trapped Rees is shattered; his weak attempts to get the freezer door open are useless. Cold and exhausted he huddles against the solid steel door, slowly losing consciousness. Could this be the end for Rees? Bad boy Matt proves he isn’t afraid of drug dealer Cash and his rowdy mates, but when they hint how Ree’s life could be in danger. Matt makes an urgent call to Joly to warn her something is wrong. Unfortunately, Joly is ignoring his calls – will Matt manage to locate Rees in time? It looks like it is party time round at Oliver’s when the club is evacuated after a fire alarm, Oliver is with an ex girlfriend Titiania ‘Tits’ and he’s taken her home for a bit of a catch up! Unfortunately for Oliver his pissed up mate Ed and a cluster of clubbers are up for a bit of a party too. Meanwhile Matt and Joly search the club for Rees and find him in terrible state, Joly frantically rings for an ambulance. Could it be too late? Anika gets a kick in the teeth when she goes to see Oliver the next morning. She is desperate to rekindle their love now she knows what a pervert his dad is. But Oliver is busy; he’s got a new play mate and doesn’t need Anika anymore. Realising she is on her own, Anika decides to give Garry a taste of his own medicine. Yasmin confides in Seb, she reckons it’s her fault Rees is in hospital and who knows how much further Cash will go to try and get back at her. As Rees starts making a recovery, Joly realises she was totally wrong about Matt, perhaps he is a decent man after all. She invites him round to help her move into Rees and Yasmin’s flat, and their friendship quickly moves on to another le
Anika’s plan to humiliate Garry backfires – it looks like she’s made him out to be some sort of stud. The new babe on Seb’s arm is quick to realise that he only has eyes for Yasmin and suggests he use his wallet to get back into Yasmin’s good books. Meanwhile Ed and Oliver entertain a gorgeous new client - Zuki, who wants them to throw her a very special sushi party for her girlfriends. Things are on the up, now all they need are two suitable waiters to complete the evening. Still fuming, Anika can’t believe the approving reception Garry received and admits she sent the images. Garry looses it and tells her that Michelle’s turned up some interesting misuse of company funds. Anika responds by is quick to blame the missing cash on Ollie then turns on the waterworks and storms out. Michelle is thrilled Gary is taking her shopping - for jewellery! Perhaps now Anika seems to be out of the picture her loyalty might be about to pay off. Joly and Matt are totally loved up and today they bring Rees home from the hospital. Meanwhile Seb’s off buying a flash car – surely it’s the quickest way to a woman’s heart? He then plucks up the courage and then heads to Cash’s flat to plead with him to let Yasmin go once and for all. Cash can’t believe his front and responds by holding a knife against Seb’s throat. Michelle is devastated to discover the ring Garry’s buying isn’t for her after all, it’s for Anika! He wants to wipe the slate clean will she give him another chance. Garry is planning a surprise proposal so takes Anika to a plush hotel to make the grand gesture. He drops the ring into the glass but before he can warn her – Anika unknowingly knocks back her champagne cocktail and immediately begins clutching at her throat. Luckily Garry is on hand to rescue her! Later Oliver is livid when he finds out about Anika and his dad’s engagement from the newspaper Cash arrives at Yasmin’s flat to say goodbye – it’s time
Garry’s having trouble rising to the occasion with Anika, he’s not sure about this baby – but Anika is determined to change his mind. When Michelle arrives at work Anika wastes no time in bragging about her baby plans, causing Michelle to storm into Garry’s office to try and talk him out of it. He’s pissed-off at Michelle’s constant interfering and tells her stop. But Michelle is now on a mission. In the pub, Ed talks Oliver through their new Chukka Ent. venture - speed strip dating for the rich. They’re interrupted by Michelle who tells Ollie of Anika’s plans and gets the reaction she hoped for. Has Michelle managed to scupper Anika’s plans? Anika agrees to secretly meet Oliver at his flat but when Michelle overhears her lying to Garry about having a manicure she knows exactly where she’s really going. Michelle finds a spare key for Oliver’s flat and is soon on her way to his flat herself. Rees tells Yasmin not to be too hard on Matt; he’s a nice bloke even if he does have money worries. Yasmin’s curious and sneakily rummages through Matt’s bag pulling out a wad of red bills and studying the address? At the flat it’s obvious that Oliver and Anika still love each other as they spend the afternoon getting reacquainted. Resting in bed after their passionate reunion the couple are suddenly blinded by the flash of a camera. Michelle has caught them and she has the evidence to prove it. Oliver chases after her determined to stop her from going to Garry. He’s got things he can threaten he with too. This is war! Yasmin plays detective for her mum when she goes to find Matt’s old flat and discovers he used to live with a girl called Angie and tells her mum what she’s found out. Joly is quick to confronts Matt - she’s had her share of piss takers and isn’t going to let another one drag her down - it’s time he left – she’s packed his bags for him. Anika is fully prepared to strike a deal with Michelle so h
After splitting up the fight between Titania and Chanel, Joly finally notices that the club is full of half naked people. Strip dating may be okay in a brothel, but not in the club that Bruno has trusted her to look after. Oliver and Ed better look for another venue to stage future Chukka Ent. events because their association with Nabakov's Cocoon is over. Back at the flat, Rees is cracking onto Chanel as Seb arrives home with Yasmin and enough booze to get things flowing. Both couples are gagging for it and ready to move into their bedrooms. But then Joly comes home totally shattered and plonks herself in front of the TV - the ultimate contraceptive! Although she insists that Seb bunks down with Rees and Chanel with Yasmin, it isn't long before the couples swap rooms. Rees is petrified when Chanel pushes him back onto the bed and she quickly susses he's a virgin. He prepares himself for rejection but is stunned when Chanel tells him to get ready for the night of his life! A friend of theirs is looking for someone to run his club in Ibiza and Ed is determined to get Oliver on the next available flight, he can't stand that Anika is still messing with his mate's head. Oliver makes one last call to Anika, she's shocked he's leaving but arranges to meet at the office so she can drive him to the airport - Garry's in meetings all day so will be none the wiser if she borrows his car. Meanwhile, Michelle has crushed a load of pills into Anika's coffee and is waiting with bated breath for her to drink it while she listens in on her conversation with Oliver. But Anika's on decaf and gives the mug back to her. Now fuming, Michelle begins studiously surfing the net, it's time to put her plans into action. At Rampant Sounds' underground car park Michelle checks that the coast is clear before jimmying the bonnet of Garry's car. She unfolds an exact diagram of the engine then carefully traces the brake cable, before getting to work a Stanley knife. Back in the office Garry
It is three months since the accident and Anika is praying that her boyfriend Oliver will wake from his coma. Oliver is stuck on a life support machine after the car crash that killed Michelle but at least it means he's off the coke. Sinister Nurse Dunkley can't believe her eyes when she spots Anika at Oliver's bedside - she's the spitting image of her older sister Tanya Turner. The once 'hot new talent' of Earls Park, Seb Webb, is fighting to stay out of Division Two after being dumped from the Premiership and sold to ailing City. His girlfriend, Yasmin, turns up at the City training ground to watch her man play after a holiday abroad with her best friend, Chanel. But when Seb gets tackled by one of his team-mates, Yasmin can't resist having a go and soon the fists are flying as she and another female spectator come to blows. Later, she and Seb argue about the incident and their relationship - Yasmin is fast losing interest in Seb and the constant self-pity trip he's been on ever since being dumped by Earls Park. Yasmin and Rees are furious with their mum Joly when she drops her latest bombshell - she and Bruno never divorced - they're his legitimate kids after all. Yasmin can't believe that her mum brought them up in poverty on a rough council estate when they could have been living a life of luxury with Bruno. Unable to take her mother's lies anymore, she chucks her out of the flat. At least Joly can count on the welcoming arms of Matt. Together, they move into a hotel as a temporary measure. Rees is mad about Yasmin's feisty mate Chanel. She's a man magnet and with her fun-size stature and good time attitude, there's nothing she likes better than a good bonk, and Rees is bowled over when she suggests a quickie in the back seat of her clapped out car. But Chanel isn't interested in a relationship - she just wants a regular shag. Oliver's dad, Earls Park Chairman Garry Ryan is sick of prolonging the inevitable and decides it's time to turn his son's li
Seb is down in the dumps after being shafted from Earls Park, now he can't even get on the bench at City. In a bid to cheer himself up, he decides to get wasted, only thing is, Yasmin's not interested and instead, gives him a long lecture about how he should be putting all of his efforts into impressing his new boss. And anyway, even playing for City he earns more in a week than most people earn in a year - it's time for him to put up and shut up. Seb starts to phone around, but he soon discovers that nobody is interested in hearing from a has-been. Funny how the "hangers-on" disappear the moment you're dropped from the Premiership! It's a miracle! Coma victim Oliver is awake and now sitting up in bed, proof that Nurse Dunkley really does have healing hands. Luckily for Oliver, he can't remember anything about her very peculiar methods beyond the odd, very confusing flashback. But he's got more important things on his mind, namely, how he's going to support himself and Anika now that his so-called friend Ed has run Chukka Ent. into the ground. It's official, Matt and Joly are a team. They're going into business together, opening a restaurant. With his fantastic reputation as a top chef and her business mind and front of house skills, it can't fail. Matt excitedly shows Joly the premises he has found. It needs a lot of work, but this is it - their future. Although Joly is excited, she's still preoccupied with the fact that Yasmin still refuses to talk to her. But Matt's got an idea that might work to get Joly back in favour with her kids, beginning with offering Rees the role of second-in-command in the kitchen. Rees is ecstatic and Joly is made up for him, if only she could get Yasmin to work at the restaurant too. Now that Joly's gone, there's a spare room in the twin's flat and Yasmin doesn't waste any time in offering it to Chanel. Although she's well up for the idea of living in her best mate's luxury apartment, Chanel is a bit concerned about how Rees
Whoops! Yasmin shagged Cash on her living room floor whilst her boyfriend Seb slept next door. Luckily, hangover Seb doesn't suspect a thing, but he would have to be blind not to notice the cut on her lip caused by an overabundance of passion. He assumes that he must have hit her when he was drunk the night before and is mortified when she confirms that it was him. Seb is hugely apologetic and, although it allows Yas out of a tight corner, it does leave her feeling very guilty. But there's another shock in store for Seb when he leaves the flat and sees Cash's very distinctive yellow sports car. Chanel wakes to find Rees in her bed gazing at her like a love sick puppy - he's got to stop that - it's enough to make her puke. But soon the flat is full of the sounds of a loud argument as Seb arrives back to confront Yasmin about Cash. She hands Seb the keys for the sports car and he is forced to explain that he bought it for Cash in exchange for him promising to leave Yasmin alone. Yas is furious - she can't believe Seb swapped her for a car! Anika wants to strike a deal with miracle healer Nurse Dunkley. She and Oliver want to act as her managers and market her "healing hands" by making a DVD called "Awakening with Jeanette" - she could be bigger than Jesus! The whiff of money certainly gets the naughty nurse's attention, but how can she pull it off? And of course, she also has her other patients to think about, namely Darius. The young striker has hit rock bottom - without football he's nothing. Luckily, Jeanette seems to be more than eager to look after his needs. Now she's his personal carer, she'll be on hand whenever he wants. And it isn't long before Darius is pleading with her to lay her healing hands on him. Thanks to his drunken and drug fuelled antics at the hospital, Seb has been dumped by City. He turns up at Garry's office and pleads with him to help - he'll work for half-pay, play for the reserves - anything for a second chance. Garry's not intere
Yasmin is busy juggling Seb and Cash. She's got to sort this mess out but when family tragedy strikes Seb - it proves impossible. Jeanette and Darius' new home care arrangements seem to be working out very well indeed. As are Anika and Oliver's plans to market Jeanette's healing abilities - they've even booked a camera crew to shoot an ad and Jeanette can't wait to glam herself up. Rees is surprised to see Matt embracing a mystery woman in the park. Matt told everyone he was off to the wine merchant. Who is the woman and why is he lying? Footballers' wife Shannon Lawson visits recovering Darius with her new boyfriend Callum. Darius is thrilled to see Shannon but gutted when he discovers Callum has taken over his role as Sparks' top striker - and is Shannon's new squeeze. Yas lies when she vows it's all over with Seb to Cash. She thinks she's got away with it but Cash is out stalking her every move and decides to sort things out - his way. Unbeknownst to Seb, his days are numbered now Cash has got it in for him. What Cash wants, Cash gets - and there's no way he's sharing Yas with Seb. On a mercy-dash to the hospital Seb drives straight into a trap. Darius is enjoying the ministrations of Nurse Dunkley and it's not long before her techniques prove irresistible. The age gap shrinks into insignificance as she convinces Darius - only she can love him now.

Meanwhile, her guilty lover Cash is calmly destroying any evidence that will tie him to Seb's murder - Yasmin must never discover the truth. Darius is devastated to hear about Seb's death. He is comforted by Shannon and her new boyfriend Callum who are interested to hear about Jeanette Dunkley's healing abilities. Perhaps she can get rid of Callum's mum Trisha's cancer? Both Jeanette and Trisha are equally as reluctant to get involved as this could ruin both of their scams. They will have to conjure up a plan quickly before their loved ones find out the truth. Cash's sidekick Woody is in a sweat. He never meant to kill Seb, just rob his car. Whilst Woody is winding himself up, Cash is keeping his cool - all's fair in love and war. Joly and Matt are so proud of their new business venture and Joly can't wait to have both their names up on the licence plate but Matt is surprisingly reluctant to have his on it. Why is he being so evasive? Sparks are flying in the brasserie's kitchen between Rees and Lizzy. But Chanel soon puts a stop to their flirting. For someone who claims not to care about Rees, she is certainly taking an active interest in his love life. It is the official opening party and Joly is thrilled her long lost friend X Factor's Rowetta, is able to officially kick things off for Canteen. Cash makes an unwelcome appearance at the party with a stunning antique necklace for Yas in the hope of winning her back. But where did he get it - and will Yasmin say yes? Desperate to cover his tracks, Cash is forced to torch his car when he discovers the police are closing in.
Anika Beevor is eager to exploit her new "Healing Hands" business with Jeanette Dunkley and drags Jeanette and Darius off to the hospital - she has paying customers and they want results. But Jeanette is in for a shock. The trial patient Alex is a woman - how can Jeanette use her 'special stimulus programme' on a female?! Just when Cash thinks he's in the clear for Seb Webb's murder, two detectives turn up to question him. But he's got his alibi well prepared and the detectives are reluctantly forced to leave. If they want to nail him for this they are going to have to work hard. Bruno is devastated wife Lucy has left him and turns up drunk at the Canteen. When Joly tries to kick him out, he refuses to budge - how dare she when the whole place was built with his cash? Matt steps in, but when Bruno gets physical, Matt bows out. Joly is disappointed and furious. Why isn't he defending her? He calls himself a man? Jeanette is feeling the pressure - her attempts to bring Alex back from a coma are not working and she is about to be exposed as a fraud. Meanwhile Darius decides to help her and feigns a mini-miracle. Jeanette is utterly grateful and the two grow closer. Perhaps their bond is blossoming into an unlikely romance? Things seem to be going very well indeed for Rees and Lizzy until things get passionate back at the flat. Lizzy wants to slow things down - but can Rees wait? Matt's giving Joly the cold shoulder until she apologises with a proposal of marriage. He backs away from her offer - is this a simple rejection, or is something bigger going on here? Poor Joly is devastated and confused.
It's the morning after Matt turned down Joly's marriage proposal and things are tense between them. Matt claims their relationship is moving too fast and Joly resigns herself to the status quo. Matt is going to visit his mum at her nursing home but rejects Joly's offer to accompany him. Jeanette is getting stage fright at the thought of the national "Awakenings" tour that Oliver and Anika have planned. She confides the truth about her "sexual healing" to Darius. He's shocked but adamant she should go ahead with their plans. Meanwhile Anika and Ollie are exploiting the merchandising potential to the full, eager to make a big killing. It's time for her opening show and Jeanette is petrified - scared she will be revealed as a fraud in front of a packed audience. However she manages to overcome her nerves and when Miranda, a patient with Multiple Sclerosis, claims to be cured, she is thrilled. However, the thrill turns to horror when Miranda turns out to be an undercover journalist and exposes the extent of the scam. Anika and Ollie disappear, leaving a distraught Jeanette to face the wrath of the crowd. Yasmin drops a clanger with Joly when she lets on she saw Matt with a huge bunch of roses. Joly is troubled - he said he was visiting his mum in Sheffield. Why would he lie? Has he got another woman? Cash is pulling out all the stops in an effort to woo back Yas. He convinces her that things will be different this time, he'll really look after her. Yas is touched by his efforts - maybe it's time to move on from Seb? Perhaps Cash will finally get what he wants. Matt arrives home to a furious Joly who demands to know the truth. He convinces her that he just needed time to think over her proposal but he's made his decision. Will it be what Joly is expecting? Darius reassures Jeanette's faith in mankind with a surprise outcome to the "Awakenings" debacle.
It's congratulations all round for Matt and Joly as they celebrate their engagement. Rees is delighted, at last he's going to have a proper family, while his sister Yasmin has ex boyfriend Cash on her mind. Should she rekindle their passionate but dangerous relationship? Meanwhile Woody is in a panic - certain the police are on to him for Seb's murder. He is not the only one getting worried - Cash receives an unexpected visit from DI Davenport with a search warrant.
